Your collection is beautiful. I prefer the hunt and story of where I found. Buying a lot of my collection from one source for me, would take the thrill out of it. I love the road trips, fairs, fleas, estates… finding so many treasures. Ironstone is not rare. There is a ton of antique stoneware and stone china to be found. Happy Hunting!

The heat from the soup probably caused the heavy crazing on the bowl as opposed to the lid because the hot liquid didn't hit it.
