What made Jeff Hardy's heel run so good was that he didn't portray a standard traditional bad guy; it's exactly how you'd want Jeff as a villain, charismatic and strange.
This was when I started watching TNA more than WWE. Styles, heel Hardy, angle, Anderson, RVD, beer money, motor city machine guns, just to name a few... Unbelievable talent.
Lightning in a Bottle. Had it not been for his drug and alcohol issues at the time, it could've been very great for a different path in his career IMO.
Antichrist Hardy is the perfect nemesis for current cm punk. I can picture him openly insulting punk with an ' I don't give a f-k about what you think of me ' look
Ace The Skylord holy shit I got goosebumps thinking about it. Imagine, Punk goes off, reminding Hardy about their past and hardy is just standing there not giving a fuck
As you can see, he still had several fans. After a little bit his fans started to come back, he truly was making that heel gimmick work, it was like, he was waiting for it. Anyone else think he can make the anti-Christ work again? Truly one of the underrated heels to be big.
You could see a sudden resurgence of energy in Jeff when he’d cut promos like this. His heel turn was a much a needed change in his career, and he enjoyed it just as much as we did. He wanted it to work so badly, going as far as to spit gum at people wearing his shirts or flipping off fans holding his signs or just flat out tearing them up. He was so good at being bad.
Turning the Jeff Hardy, the eternal babyface into an anti-christ heel was one of the few good things that Hogan and Bischoff did good in TNA during their reign. I mean, Jeff never was heel; never played that role... I don't know him... I think he had the opportunity to unload a lot of things... I think he put a lot of himself into this caractere... and to him, it was more fun time because it was new and refreshing, he was out of his comfort zone... because of his name, he was kinda untouchable, he could have say whatever he wanted so he played with that... Everybody knows what happened at Victory Road 2011, Jeff slipped, he screwed up, (what a shame)... but his turn was long-awaited... it was good, but it could have been great if Jeff Hardy was turning on TNA guys/fresh faces/young guys (whatever you want to call it) like AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Chris Sabin instead of Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson and RVD!
Justin Banks that wasn't necessarily a REAL heel turn though. he just played the role of having pent up aggression cuz of his losing streak at the time.
Yeah that's the biggest failure of TNA. Relying on too many big WWE rejects past their prime. Then rely on their young talent. They should have bought back Christian. Also, Fortune should have been in a power struggle with immortal from the start not allied. I mean WTF is AJ doing behind Hardy. He's the face of TNA. It's like sting behind Hogan at his first heel promo for the NWO. Makes no sense.
Holy shit, a good promo from Jeff. I didn't think it was possible after all the stinkers he gave in WWF. I love his ring work and high spots, but the boy was never really known for his mic skills. This just shut me up.
When TNA was a must watch week in and week out. Dope heel promo cut from Jeff Hardy here. During this time, I watched TNA equally, if not more than, WWE. Say what you want about Eric Bischoff, he was a genius for pairing with TNA, Dixie Carter & Jeff Jarrett for this storyline...
What’s cool about this is everything he said is true. He beat himself up for us fans. He has herniated discs and pinched nerves because he sacrificed his body for us.
This was dark times in tna. So much tension. Jeff hardy and abyss turned heel, which shocked me. The good were outnumbered. The bad guys seemed unstoppable. Kid me thought RVD couldn't trust anyone.
If it wasn't for Victory Road Hardy would have a legitimate argument for wrestler of the year in 2011/12. This run really showcased Hardy's skill to be a complete main eventer but unfortunately it was derailed by his addiction.
I still love u Jeff and I always will no matter is u've turned heel or not because u've been my all tune favorite wrestler since the beginning of ur career and I love u Soooo much but I don't usually watch TNA I watch Monday night raw and Friday night smackdown and wrestlemania and I miss u in the WWE Jeff Sooo please come back ur WWE fans miss u like u wouldn't believe :(
highly doubt because they're very popular among fans right now.. i think cesaro and sheamus would turn heel instead of 'em. knowing revival is out of action for months, other than gallows and anderson.. raw needs more heel tag team.
Jeff played the heel role fantastic had some fantastic promos too anyway who says he not that good of talker should go watch some of his promos as a heel but as much as Jeff tried to get fans to boo him there weren't gonna do it. Jeff as a heel never worked because fans weren't gonna boo him there are some guys that should never turn heel and Jeff is one of them fans aren't gonna boo Jeff Hardy they love him too much there a reason wwe won't try a heel Jeff Hardy now because they know fans aren't gonna boo him.
Yeah the 2010 one. Who did he vs? XD And i didn't know he was in 2004? I thought he waa in wwe. Cause I used to watch him all the time from 1999's - 2010 or 09 in my case. I thought you were only allowed to be apart of one industry.
He started in WWE in 1998-2003 he got fired then joined TNA in 2004-2005 and then returned to WWE in 2006-2009 but left to recover from injuries but rejoined TNA in 2010 and has been there since.
MrJeffHardy63 Wow XD I thought he got fired in 2009 or something Sad thing is my mom surprised me wrestlmania tickets and we sat in the bottom stadium but i forgot jeff and matt fought each other. I think i kept getting distracted cause some women spilled her drink where we were sitting o.o Cause either i forgot or i wasn't paying attention since i have a bad habbit of zoning out XD But only match I do remember was the last undertaker vs shawn. And we almost left early. It was either my mom or sister who wanted to leave before their match, but either my sister or mom was like "no." XD
No Jeff himself decided not to renew his contract in 2009 so he could instead rest and recover from injuries he picked up over the years but jumped ship to TNA lol That was the best match on the card so at least you remember that match lol
WWE isnt even wrestling dude its pop culture, Punk proved himself in ROH but Vince Mcmahon made him a 434 day long champion. Vince made CM Punk into a future HOFer, just like he turned Cena, Orton, Triple H, Batista, Kane, Undertaker and the rest into future Hall of Famers. The only stars he didnt make were Stone Cold, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and the guys from WCW and ECW. Vince also didnt make The Attitude Era(ECW) and In Your House(WCW).
no he wont shut up. unlike jeff hardy, cm punk has proved himself to be the legit best in the world when he was heel and all hardy did was talk and fight. he never fought any big fights and come through by a pinch, punk has and he has way better mic skills than hardy so before you go comparing them remember 3 things legitimacy, mic skills, and 434
Punk is overrated as hell. Jeff is better. Jeff is better in the ring though. Punk is sloppy in the ring, his kicks are hilarious to watch, unatlethic and he did his finisher lame, which he stole it from Kenta. At least Jeff has originality, cm punk isn't. Jeff is more universal draw to punk. Punk only appealed to Smarks who treat him a God because of that overrated pipebomb that damage the future of the WWE. Jeff is a better overall pro wrestler than punk. Deal with it.
my god tna is really a home of old wrestler look at those in the ring bunch of old and wash up wrestlers tna is really with out a shadow of a doubt a retirement homes
Bro, outside of Flair & Hogan (who weren't wresting) I have no clue what you're talking about. Are you claiming Beer Money, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Abyss, and Matt Morgan are washed up here? This was 6 years ago. AJ Styles is more "washed up" now then he was 6 years ago, which would make WWE the "retirement homes" lmao!
Am I the only one that thinks that Jeff's mic skills are incredible when he's a heel?
MrEchoMan he's great at whatever he does. He's so freaking awesome ⚡🔥🔥
MrEchoMan He has always great Mic skills
MrEchoMan nope I agree with you
As long as you never say anything stupid you have great mic skills
2:54 oh man
What made Jeff Hardy's heel run so good was that he didn't portray a standard traditional bad guy; it's exactly how you'd want Jeff as a villain, charismatic and strange.
Man this version of him was so weird yet awesome, made me feel bad that he was like this hahahaa
This was when I started watching TNA more than WWE. Styles, heel Hardy, angle, Anderson, RVD, beer money, motor city machine guns, just to name a few...
Unbelievable talent.
Me too I miss those days
Alex Shelley is the World champion and Sabin is the X-division champion right now so there is actual one of the things you mentioned.
Facts tbh that was a time where TNA was sadly better than wwe for a bit
Jeff hardy had blond and black hair strip before Seth Rollins did
Too bad he said it wrong lmao
edub863 wcw kiss the demon had it even before him
edub863 Before broken matt 😏
edub863 exactly
Is it possible that they tried to make seth the next Jeff Hardy
i will never forget 10/10/10
I'll never forget 6/6/6 lol
prowrestling4all me neither..... it was my birthday lol
They had a hell of a thing with Jeff Hardy as a heel. One of TNA's best products
Lightning in a Bottle.
Had it not been for his drug and alcohol issues at the time, it could've been very great for a different path in his career IMO.
This was 4 years ago and I still remember watching this on tv
Hard I was thinking that, bad faction tho in the long run. Still enjoyed it
Jeff was a great Heel.I liked him more as a heel than a face.
Antichrist Hardy is the perfect nemesis for current cm punk. I can picture him openly insulting punk with an ' I don't give a f-k about what you think of me ' look
Dude that would be awesome!
Ace The Skylord holy shit I got goosebumps thinking about it. Imagine, Punk goes off, reminding Hardy about their past and hardy is just standing there not giving a fuck
@@Smallestpenis yeah while having a segment with Jeff is puffing smoke. That would be sick
As you can see, he still had several fans. After a little bit his fans started to come back, he truly was making that heel gimmick work, it was like, he was waiting for it.
Anyone else think he can make the anti-Christ work again? Truly one of the underrated heels to be big.
Why don't he try it or them let him ?
+Bren person well at this point he was on drugs at the time
Perhaps it could work but right now he's fine with his other gimmick he's at with Matt

Jeff hardy turned heel in wwe in 2003 he attacked shawn michaels and rob van dam
Justin Banks that wasn't necessarily a REAL heel turn though. he just played the role of having pent up aggression cuz of his losing streak at the time.
Ycb Zilla Jeff as a heel never worked he played the role fantastic but fans are never gonna boo Jeff Hardy they love him too much
Ycb Zilla WWE HAD PLANS FOR HEEL TURNS,BUT THEY DIDN'T HAPPEN FINALLY
Yeah that's the biggest failure of TNA. Relying on too many big WWE rejects past their prime. Then rely on their young talent. They should have bought back Christian. Also, Fortune should have been in a power struggle with immortal from the start not allied. I mean WTF is AJ doing behind Hardy. He's the face of TNA. It's like sting behind Hogan at his first heel promo for the NWO. Makes no sense.
Jeff as a heel was awesome to see and rare
TNA played a better heel gimmick with him than WWE ever could lol
Brittany Banks They also played better face runs. Sensing a pattern?
That line Jeff hardy said in the beginning was wild silenced the crowd dam 🔥🔥
Holy shit, a good promo from Jeff. I didn't think it was possible after all the stinkers he gave in WWF. I love his ring work and high spots, but the boy was never really known for his mic skills. This just shut me up.

Them:You sold out
Hardy:No I sold in
Me:😱
Back when TNA was interesting
It still is
Lier Kunal 😂😂😂😂
This my favorite Jeff Hardy of all time
jeff keep the mic skills PLEASE
What’s cool about this is everything he said is true. He beat himself up for us fans. He has herniated discs and pinched nerves because he sacrificed his body for us.
This was dark times in tna. So much tension. Jeff hardy and abyss turned heel, which shocked me. The good were outnumbered. The bad guys seemed unstoppable. Kid me thought RVD couldn't trust anyone.
man i miss that era
We need heel jeff back and this is the kind of heel I mean!
And 'Another me' theme song too
Jeff Hardy was a SICK heel!
If Jeff comes back to WWE i hope they have him as a heel.
i dyed a patch of my hair blonde just because of Jeff Hardy's heel run
immortal when they were really powerful was some of the best moments they had
Jeff Hardy just doesn't seem evil to me he seems good 😐
I loved TNA at this stage
This is one of the few parts of the heel run I enjoyed. They booked the rest like trash.
Heel Hardy was gold!! But you know people love you when fans cheer for a bad guy
Am I the only one who likes heel Jeff!?!?!?
tna used to be so amazing
I just noticed A.J. Styles in the back behind him....
Nemo Collagreen him and AJ were super close before Victory Road 2011. Not sure on their friendship now
2:28 *GLORIOUS!!!*
“You Sold Out!!!” Lmao 1:27
If it wasn't for Victory Road Hardy would have a legitimate argument for wrestler of the year in 2011/12. This run really showcased Hardy's skill to be a complete main eventer but unfortunately it was derailed by his addiction.
the fact wwe basically stole the I didn't sell out I sold in line lmao
Exactly! It sounded familiar.
They didn't steal it, it's a common expression
if you refer to seth rollins, he said "i bought in"
+4za no they stole it from tna
+DeeVaN same thing
I never liked Jeff Hardy before until TNA has done something with Hardy that WWE couldn't have done in 10 years.
TNA turned him heel
Now this is Brother Nero lol.
1:37 🤣🤣🤣
This was the closest Jeff Hardy came to reaching his full potential 😢
I still love him
Hogan Flair Bischoff Jeff AJ Roode and Storm Jeff Hardy all in the same ring wow
2:26 Fan goes Yeah Hardy!!!
creo yo la mejor faceta de Jeff Hardy en TNA fue un gran Heel
Jeff hardy my favorite wrestler i like him as a heel and a baby face im a real royal fan to Jeff hardy
Main reason I was more of a TNA fan then WWE at the time was Heel Hardy w/ Immortal 💯✍🏾
WWE should've turned Jeff Hardy
I still love u Jeff and I always will no matter is u've turned heel or not because u've been my all tune favorite wrestler since the beginning of ur career and I love u Soooo much but I don't usually watch TNA I watch Monday night raw and Friday night smackdown and wrestlemania and I miss u in the WWE Jeff Sooo please come back ur WWE fans miss u like u wouldn't believe :(
so this is from where roman got the idea of hanging the us title behind his back !!!
Eddie Guerrero did it too
Immortal
Jeff Hardy kind of looks like Raven and sounds like Trunks from DBZ
he should use this heel gimmick on wwe
Loved it when he wrestled with a Tie
this is the charcter he should have been in that "Other Company" but they wouldnt allow it props to tna for using jeff to his fullest :)
I love u JEFF!
Back when Tna was watchable
He should turn heel in WWE after him & Matt lose the titles now
highly doubt because they're very popular among fans right now.. i think cesaro and sheamus would turn heel instead of 'em. knowing revival is out of action for months, other than gallows and anderson.. raw needs more heel tag team.
Oh Jeff we love you too
Most heel superstars today are hall of famer like edge
I loved Jeff's heel run, except when he almost became his character.
Seth stole the sold in line from this wow
And the look
If I'm not mistaken, I think this was the only time Jeff Hardy turned heel
Very short heel turn in 2003
Bad ass jeff heel
At the end he kinda scared bcuz of the way he was staring
Jeff played the heel role fantastic had some fantastic promos too anyway who says he not that good of talker should go watch some of his promos as a heel but as much as Jeff tried to get fans to boo him there weren't gonna do it. Why don't they let him do this again
Because I have an asshole boss named Billy Corgan.
Are they Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle and Goldberg?
Anyone watch recent wrestlemania? Could you imagine if Jeff and Matt made their return as this gimmick as heel. $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Jeff Hardy
The good old times when Tna was Tna and not Impact wrestling
he headlined with undertaker
exactly
2018!!!!!!
so cm punk proved he was the best when everyone else shunned him
in the wwe its different
is this when jeff first came to tna?
I'm trying to find rhe episode where he firsr went to tna.
+Noely Jeff first joined TNA in 2004 but I think your talking about his return in 2010 during an Asylum match
Yeah the 2010 one. Who did he vs?
XD And i didn't know he was in 2004?
I thought he waa in wwe. Cause I used
to watch him all the time from 1999's - 2010

Did this group have a name
it was called Immortal
UNDERTAKER ???
I THOUGH WRONG ABOUT CM PUNK I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE A FEW ROUNDS
Jeff Hardy Heel>Jeff Hardy Face
no he wont shut up. unlike jeff hardy, cm punk has proved himself to be the legit best in the world when he was heel and all hardy did was talk and fight. he never fought any big fights and come through by a pinch, punk has and he has way better mic skills than hardy so before you go comparing them remember 3 things legitimacy, mic skills, and 434

Ten ten ten

my god tna is really a home of old wrestler look at those in the ring bunch of old and wash up wrestlers tna is really with out a shadow of a doubt a retirement homes
dude Jeff hardy isn't a wash up they told he to come back when he was clean of drugs and tired of tna
this was old bro
Bro, outside of Flair & Hogan (who weren't wresting) I have no clue what you're talking about. Are you claiming Beer Money, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Abyss, and Matt Morgan are washed up here? This was 6 years ago. AJ Styles is more "washed up" now then he was 6 years ago, which would make WWE the "retirement homes" lmao!
+Dennis Day facts jeff hardy still good
also Austin Aries and Samoan Joe all game from tna and now in wwe
Well, you're a moron. besides Flair and Hogan, what other "old" wrestlers do you see? Get your eyes checked genius.
Hey every one shut up its Tna not wwe
The time when Jeff hardy are more popular than Aj styles. Look Aj styles in the back he is like a jobber on suits.
Jeff has the charisma of a brick wall.
GAY !
You know he is great when jeff is a heel and the fans still chant his name
