  • This is an excellent step by step short back and sides haircut. I will show you the basics of clipper over comb technique for a better finish and control throughout your haircut. The top section is cut square and textured with a point cutting technique. Feel free to leave any comment about this video and subscribe to my page because I will be sharing more step by step video for men's cuts.

    I watched your video all away from Holland and I have seen a lot of tutorials on youtube, but you are explaining it by far THE BEST compared to the rest I have seen. Simply because you are going it trough step by step and really pointing out the guidelines and how to work through them including the blow drying information. It was very informative. And also thank you for not using a mannequin haha.
    I will watch the rest of your vidz also. Keep up the good work!!!

    I often cut my own hair and can do great fade with clippers now using mirrors but I ALWAYS struggle blending the top of my hair with the sides using clipper over comb in a mirror but this tutorial explained it in a way that has made me improve greatly and really get the hang of it thank you

    Thanks 4 sharing. I always wanted to use all clipper but feel it takes longer. I use cliper for my base then sheer over comb for a softer cut. I feel it looks nicer and quicker but there are many different approaches. It kinda depends on the hairs health and what the client wants.Both ways are good however! Nice cut!

    why does this channel not have more attention? I'm in barber school in the US and shear cutting is not at its best in the entire industry here. This guy is teaching gems, an absolute artist with the comb. people worry too much about the shear or clipper. watch the comb. this man has many great ways to use it.

Maybe you wanna go a video on how to do that bottom to the top, since she really doesn't know how to explain it to me 😔

    If I wanted this hair style would should I ask for when I go to the hairdresser?

  • @hopeamaryah1635
    @hopeamaryah1635 3 роки тому

    things I learned:
    1- direct that longer front back - to keep it long, build weight, and accomplish that similar finish style. And If you need to cut more off the fringe (which you might, either way), you'll do it later.
    2 - don't blend the sides straight up at a clear cut 90 - blend any edges left from the square by thinking about point-cutting and just taking a bit off that notch instead of creating a clear cut and then seeing a line (ESPECIALLY FOR FINE HAIR).
    3 - use an x motion (diagonal one way and then the other) to blowdry and to style with product afterward! It gives you volume and you will be able to have a carefree, textured look but gently against small details as desired. :)
    4 - texturize and/to cross-check - kill two birds with one stone efficiently.
    Also noticed that the hair looks about 2 inches or under on top, and about 3 inches or more near the fringe .

      Hi moomin,
      In my opinion maybe more wavy than curly and yes you won't have to wet the hair.

    @myhaireducation Thanks for being a hair master! My only question: how to you adjust the comb angle as you go up or down the head?

    • @Myhaireducation
      @Myhaireducation  3 роки тому

      Hey hope!
      If you keep your comb angle straight you build weight, If you put it diagonally it rounds and refines your shape, and If your comb is vertical it removes weights, so it depends what you want your end result to be.
      Hope it helps
