Very basic and important lecture for the researchers interested in magnetism field and also teaching magnetism . Good to hear from the experet in the field.
Good to hear you Sir after so many years. I was curious about what -N(E) in the inverted E-N(E) graph should correspond to physically? These were the spins that are antiparallel to the magnetic field (when applied). Thank you.
The behaviour of Fermi level when Magnetic field is applied is explained in an excellent manner. But how the spin of electrons changes when they jump from opposite direction to the parallel direction of the field?
awesome explanation. TQ SIR. i hav a small doubt when electrons jump from opposite direction to parallel direction side of field how there spin vl change llel to fie dierction.if anybody knows plz post d ans.
So much 'Aah' while speaking is rather discouraging and breaks the continuous thought process while understanding a concept. This is why fluency in speaking is so important.I expected much more from an IIT Madras Professor.
Thanks a lot..I've learn paramagnetism, diamagnetism and ferromagnetism more effectively through this video
Thanks Sir for giving very interesting and informative information.

Hi....I am Dr.Laxman chikhale, Really a good presentation of how fermilevel balances when field is applied on it.Thanks sir good explained on board.

Video quality should be improved because the content written on board is not so visible.
Thank u Sir for such informative and useful demonstration of magnetic materials
Good explanation of magnetism by using different magnetic parameters

Really a good explanation how Fermi level balances when field is applied. Thanks professor
Very good explanation Sir. Thank you very much
Thanks Sir for giving very interesting and informative information.
Excellent and informative session.Thanks
Thank you sir for explanation related to magnetic properties.
Excellent session on Magnetism. Thank you Sir.
Quality teaching.Great work!!
Nice presentation about magnetism
helped me a lot.great lecture
Thank you for the video sir. It was an informative session.
Remembering Head of Dept. Physics Farook college . Prof T. Mohammed
Behaviour of Fermi level balancing through the self adjustment of electrons are better explained.
Nice to learn magnetic properties thank you sir
No ,diamagnetic materials have magnetic moment but it is orbital magnetic moment which is very less
Yaaa
Much clarity...thank you sir
Informative presentation.
Nice presentation Professor.
Since cancellation is complete in antiferromagnetic materials, how do they have net magnetic dipole moment in the absence of magnetic field.
Actually they don't have there is no net magnetic moment.
Nicely explained Sir.
Nice session on Magnetic Properties
excellent lecture sir thank you soo much
Very neat explanation
very nice presentation sir
Great Explanation.
Informative session
At 24.07 secs what is lefted magnetic moment and because of what?
Nice presentation
Nice Video Sir😇
thanks sir , it helps me a lot
thank you so much sir.
Thanks good work sir
Very informative video
why magnetic properties increase as vacancies increases?
good explanation
Thanks for the talk sir
Learn a lot thanks
do you have some lectures on plasmonics!!
very nice lecture
Nice session
useful lecture
thnx Dr
I do understand what you say
Curie law and viens law m kya difference h
Thank you
good!
Thank you sir
excellent lecture on Magnetism !!
Naveen Shetty
Nice
Sir u r doing aaaa I don't undrstand
CHOKe class....funny..
So much 'Aah' while speaking is rather discouraging and breaks the continuous thought process while understanding a concept. This is why fluency in speaking is so important.I expected much more from an IIT Madras Professor.
Who are you again??
No need fluency.... video is full of concept which we need more ...
Nice presentation about magnetism
excellent lecture on Magnetism !!
