- The Battle of All Times rages on! Return to the war-torn world of Valhalla in Heroscape: Age of Annihilation, the latest set for the classic Heroscape game system. First released in 2004, Age of Annihilation is the first new set in over 10 years and packed with miniatures for five original factions, plus terrain and landscape tiles. Become legendary! You can back your copy via Has Lab here: go.hasb.ro/Her...
I've been waiting 12 years for Heroscape to make a return lol
Heroscape really is something special - looking forward to seeing the new edition come to life!
Backing isn’t looking too good so it probably won’t release
@@_Booksphere_ I've seen the spreadsheets - we're actually doing ok, given the pace of other haslabs. Nothing's ever surefire in this industry, but you really can't compare the pace of this against, say, Kickstarter projects
@@HS_Diora how’s it looking now? Seems like the number is going up pretty slowly
@@_Booksphere_ Someone was able to dredge up numbers from the absurdly successful Galactus haslab, just so we could see what that was like. It too had a drought period in the exact same timescale we're in right now. I'll spare you the calculations, but if we can reach, say, 5k, within the next 2 weeks (seems doable - we're nearing 3k after 3 weeks), we stand a good chance of recreating that success! But since we really can't expect the insane success of Galactus, a goal of 4k within the next two weeks should give us a fraction of what Galactus saw (which is all we need to fund) - and that's very doable.
@@HS_Diora for the Galactus Haslab, they said there was a huge boom in the last five days that doubled the backers. It’s going to be close
I use to eat, sleep, and breathe Heroscape back in high school. Im in my 30s now, with kids, and no time to paint and play, nor do I have $250+ laying around for something like this.
And yet it calls to me.
Not gonna lie, more excited to hear the legendary BALDERMORT here!
I'll likely back this at any rate.
This is EXACTLY what I came to the comments for. Super hyped to hear that legend here.
Heroscape is an awesome game. I love the terrain and straight-fowrard tactics
Baldermort, you legend
Please bring back the blue orcs that ride the dinosaurs!
They showed off an Orc concept for a future expansion- riding a war mammoth! Super hyped to see if this gets funded.
Let’s get this funded, the game is awesome!
I already backed it, hopefully it gets fully backed.
Fingers crossed!
For everyone who can't afford to purchase by the end of the campaign don't forget they have an option for PayPal credit. Which means you have 6 months after the purchase date to pay off your investment. Which is about 45$ a month
The new models look incredible. I’ve already ordered two sets. I can’t wait to see the final cards for these units.
Might need to order more to get it backed lol
I really hope to see more Heroscape, absolutely great game hope we can see some of the new units army cards
I'm a long time fan of HS since it launched, and have been super excited about this release, but I just read that the new set will be $250 (*unpainted* minis to boot!).....$250?? Well Imma NOPE out on that one, then. What a shame. Glad I kept all my original stuff.
Sorry, to hear that. I know the $250 is a big amount to buy in, but the amount of what they are including in the set is really a good value. I hope that you keep an eye on it and possibly reconsider. They have a lot of plans for the game and it would be awesome to see it all become a reality.
Indeed no paint = no buy.
Is the VA Baldermort? Awesome work
Oh, that’s Baldermort. No mistaking that wonderful voice.
That's so cool to hear him here!
Indeed.
Awesome trailer. This is a great game!
My personal favorite. I hope it gets fully backed!
Same here. I can’t wait to try out all the new units.
PUNISHED THORMUN
- A fallen legend -
Already backed it on day one. I really hope it makes it across the finish line.
Me too!
This would be f-ing insane if the miniatures were painted.
The original HeroScape had fully painted minis across the board. Fingers crossed 🤞
Painted figures would also push the cost well over $400, so I'll take unpainted 🤷♂️
@@LightXiegfried even a lot of unpainted mini games clear $400 these days 🙃
Yall did this project dirty. I just heard about it tonight. I would have easily dropped 500 on a big box. I'm heart broken.
Someone seems to be channelling his inner Irenicus, with a voice like that.
I hope this gets supported enough!
Baldermort, you Legend!
A new chapter begins...🔥
Man, this is awesome :D
It's cool to see HeroScape come back.
Do wish a Transformers HeroScape game was made tho' lol.
ITS BACK!!! I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT IT TODAY!!!!!
Hello. I have succesfully registred in herospaers, but I don't know why, I can't post. So, I put my question here. Why the KickStarter is not aviable to France? Is that about the translate?
This looks awesome, love all the new minis . Painted or unpainted, Australia 🇦🇺
Bought mine already. Could you post a paint guide for the characters or at least colored photos of characters. Just as guiding stones for others? I’m extremely excited! Looks amazing already!
the attraction of the first heroscape for me was that it looked like warhammer 40k and other tabletops without any tinkering or painting. if i now have to paint all the figures to make it look as good as my old heroacape sets, i'm out. then i'd rather play warhammer.
Baldermort ♥ ♥ ♥
Did anyone get the feeling that Heroscape was the inspiration for the Fate anime series since it also involves characters from different time periods coming together in 1 location?
I doubt it. The first Fate VN came out in February 2004. That would predate Heroscape release.
Encarmine SCREWED THIS UP!!!
First things first, I’m going to gets this set and do a destruction video because it’s doesn’t have Grimnak and the rest of the Utgar orcs!!!
Is Thormund the one talking here?
You’ve priced a lot of causal/incoming players out of this product.
There isn’t a work in progress copy of the rules or character cards.
There aren’t legacy characters or historically based units in the base pledge.
If you had had a $80-$100 option that had value roughly equal to RoTV I would have pledged day one.
I mean, they probably might've hit their goal if they took it to an 'actual' crowdfunding site like Kickstarter. Who tf thought it was a good idea to put this on Hasbro's own crowdfunding site where nobody would see it?
Will my boys, the soulborg be returning?
let it live again in 2024!
darn shame if this doesn't meet it's funding goal!
I was so excited for this announcement, but $250 for unpainted figures is insane. This Haslab stuff has gotten bonkers.
While I understand the price being a lot, this is quite literally the one shot we have at this game returning. So I'm more than down to pay up.
$250 is a lot, but heroscape is worth it. Painting figures is fun and easy. There are many UA-cam videos that show how to get good painting results easily. So many people seem afraid of painting on action figures, but it is the opposite of something to be scared of.
@@InventiveHarvest it's not a question of painting the figures. I paint miniatures. But why let Hasbro take you for hundreds of dollars for a product that's inferior to the original?
@@nikholman1287 this set has a lot more stuff than the master sets. Also, Hasbro may be testing how many people are interested in buying a lot of heroscape. They may feel that casual fans are not a good indicator of brand success.
@@InventiveHarvest yeah I agree thats probably what they are doing, I backed but it's a hard sell to people I know who play it who are causals and are saying they will wait until expansions come out
I wish I didn't gave away my heroscape official 1st edition and Marvel expansion few years ago. Since new heroscape it's backwards compatible with previous editions.
🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Man, I think about 1000 of the views on this video must have been just me 😂
I love Heroscape and own every figure but CAN'T support this because the figures aren't painted. I'd pay more for a fully painted set that fit in with the originals. In a way, I hope that this fails and you re-launch the proper way. Love the product but not this barebones version.
Huge Heroscape fan. Heroescape used to be $60 for the base set, with painted figures. AH is shooting themselves in the foot, trying to get people to pay $250 for a base game with unpainted figures. This is more like $99 worth of stuff. To me, this means that any future stuff they release, if your going to pay $250 for a base game, then why not sock it to me with expansions as well. This game is way over priced and they will not succeed in their funding because of it. They should be making it a lower price point to get more people in and playing it and charge a little more for expansions or what not. Ill just keep buying the old stuff on Ebay if I want something. $250 I can buy a lot of stuff. You failed in bringing back a classic AH. Poor business decision.
No painted minis, not going to back this project at that price point. Sorry. Hasbro needs to either drop the price point or rethink the product and paint those minis.
da fudge
No paint on these hyped generic new characters = no purchase
Almost until I saw the minis were unpainted. Lame
We'er back baby, confirmed hours ago.
Worry bout that Ghost Rider HasLab for now playboi
I have 2 Ghost Riders in HeroScape Blaze and Ketch , But Yeah GR 2014 looking great
