what sucks is this is row 1 POV at the front of the stage. I made that mistake for Red tour and never again. any of the mid to end of catwalk sections are key for anyone who's interested
I had tickets for the first two seats in the front row of section A at the the second Detroit show (without VIP) that I got through an extra Ticketmaster sale for verified fans which were ~$420USD each, so $600CAN each as that’s the currency language I speak lol. Basically, I got insanely lucky as I didn’t actually pick the seats, they just gave me the best they had available in my given price range (of which $420USD was the top).
People bitch and moan about concert prices well obviously people pay them so why shouldn't they be so hilariously overpriced? I could be a billionaire id never spend thousands of dollars on a frickin concert but to each his own
i understand your point in the terms of yknow, obviously in this world people want to make money right? and if someone can afford to waste thousands on tickets (not necessarily the person who posted this video but rich people in general), why not take some rich persons money and give it to yourself? supply and demand etc etc there's obviously too many factors to get into in a youtube comment, and COVID has had a very damaging impact on venues. this leads to venues themselves having to charge more for everything. the monopoly of live nation and ticketmaster on ticketing is very hard to fully understand, but the fees in ticketing are extremely arbitrary and are often increased or decreased depending on how much you spend, and when it's the only place offering face value tickets, they can boost fees as much as they want. they also partner with venues for exclusivity deals so there's REALLY no option 2. this happens with resale sites too. there's a lot more to say but i'd look into it more if i was you, there's some really interesting info out there. the music industry is a rly toxic place for artists and fans sometimes and stuff like this only restricts music from people ultimately.
