Double Team is good to dodge stuns from Pokemon like Gengar or Play Rough from Mimikyu and give you movement speed
Flower Trick don't need you to be in close range to deal dmg
Night Slash give your crit and hp recovery

The problem is it needs a lot of experience to be viable, you got 10 minutes and you need 6-7 minutes for Tyranitar.

Buy Tyranitar, just farm and scoring in early game and fight less, this will help you easily to get level 9 in about 3 or 4 minutes.
Tyranitar build: focus band, rapid-fire scarf and weakness policy. If you play Tyranitar good with these build, you will almost do more than 100k damage in every single match.
Trevanant is meta right now, Tyranitar is B tier pokemon who need lots of experience.
