      Idk it’s really hard to make an argument to use a support outside of at least duo queue bc you just have so little control over the game. It just feels so bad when all your carries are incompetent I’d rather pick a second tank almost always bc at least you can carry if needed. I think I have above 70% wr on umbreon and blastoise this season, they’ve been my go to’s in the dreaded all attacker/damage dealer comps.
      Don’t get me wrong it’s nice to win the lottery and get an eldegoss on your team and them actually be good at support, but half the time they aren’t even running exp share lol

    I disagree on Eldegoss’ mobility being weak. Cotton spore is such a powerful move that provides useful CC during a fight, and great mobility to engage or disengage from one. Leaf tornado exists as well, not that you’ll ever use it outside of specific comps in a team scenario, but it’s still of note. If not cut for the mobility check, I’d imagine it would’ve made too 6 easily, especially being the only supporter pick.
    I would also argue on Tsareena’s unite move. While not as strong as slowbro’s, it does deal very high damage and her combo playstyle can lead to a powerful full to zero hp combo against the enemy’s most important attacker or speedster DPS. The ability to grant herself invincibility and remove her target from the game during the move’s duration is also big especially during team fights.
    That being said, I always play full grass teams in Pokémon games and only play grass types in Unite, so I am biased, however that’s also partly because I’ve used Tsareena so much as she’s the only grass type all-rounder.

    The damage of Absol's unite move is shared in a given zone so naturally if enemies are around ray its actually not the right move to secure, you're better off using the unite early then secure with nightslash/pursuit, nightslash being the easiest option

    Great video but I think the mobility on Eldegoss is underestimated here. With cotton spore I can 1v1 speedsters and often get away. Especially in combination with x speed. Tho ofc that is not always up and goes for all these mons. I think it’s a very strong pick because you can also carry sometimes.

    Second criteria is such a bummer. New Pokémon and most single and non evolving Pokémon have good early, mid and late game.
    Two stages Pokémon (except Kanto) needs something that rewards them for being 2 stage evolution Pokémon. The weakest among these two stage Pokémon are Mamoswine (he fall the most despite being good early) and Charizard (even evolving at lvl 7 doesn't help char).

    you can also use Aurora Veil instead of blizzard since it gives good mobility as it lets u dash forward kind of like Sylveon's "Mystical Fire" i prefer Avalanche over Dazzling Gleam since Avalanche has range and if you're already using Aurora Veil than Dazzling Gleam becomes even worse Avalanche and Blizzard are both great ranged moves

    Espeon may be the most underrated but it is more immobile than Glaceon. Glaceon's ice spear/shard build has insane range and her passive ability will trigger more often than Espeon's only escape, his unite move. All of the Eevees are great soloQue picks. Leafeon is a bit overrated for soloQue with no CC or durability.
    Rapid spin Blastoise can carry!

  • @dramaking9910
    @dramaking9910 2 місяці тому

    I would argue that sylveon is better than espeon. Espeon is a great Pokemon but relies on a frontline to showcase her power. Without a tank besides her she is very squishy and gets easily assassinated. Sylveon on the other hand is very versatile. She has mystical fire in which you demonstrated which shows great mobility and damage. Also draining kiss recovers HP which makes her tanky than espeon. Calming wind on the other hand grants a mini shield plus increases mobility. Overall I think you did Sylveon dirty man. plus majority of the video was demonstrating sylveon, that has to say something 😅

    I would like to make an argument for why crustle is the best solo q pokemon in the game.
    1. Two amazing builds in shell smash or rock tomb that have significant effects on the game
    2. Functions with XP share as a held item on top of massive stun and control allowing for great lane synergy with a lot of pokemon
    3. The only times where crustle needs to secure is farm in the early game in which rock slide and fury cutter are actually really good for. Otherwise their job at objectives isn't to try to secure but to try to stop the other team
    4. Crustle unite move is extremely underrated with strong damage and a large shield that can seem absolutely massive when used with low health buddy barrier works on this pokemon for this reason and can be unstoppable.
    5. Rock tomb low-key invalidates some characters like if you get rock tombed in a teamfight without a dash you are in trouble

    @closeenough1343 3 місяці тому +2

    Wow, you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Lmao, blastoise is the best defender next to trev, but he isn't a carry. The best pokemon for solo Q needs to be a carry. Its impossible to say defenders are best for solo q when they can't carry. You put espeon on that list and espeon CANT carry either. A carry would be a pokemon that doesn't rely on a defender and can dive. Espeon and defenders can't do that. So they aren't best for solo q at all. The closest you came was leafeon. The very first pokemon you've eliminated can actually carry. Greninja, Talon, and meowscarada fill roles of being carries without heavy reliance on a defender. They all can dive, they all can secure, and they all have mobility. It's WILD you put blastoise as the best solo q when he's a defender. Easy to play? Sure. But best solo q? Nope, never, and why? Because he's way too team reliant. You play blastoise as a defender, and he can't ko. You play him as a carry, and he can't defend. He's way too team reliant. Your criteria was good with the exception of not including dive capabilities, however the choice in pokemon You've made was WAY OFF. The only pokemon you picked that made sense was leafeon. Literally all the others heavily rely on a team to be effective, ESPECIALLY umbreon, slowbro, and espeon.

      just from my personal experience i have to disagree. i am much more excited when i see a blastoise or espeon than greninja, talonflame, or meowscarada in my team queue. Most of the player base even in masters (i’m currently 1660 with a 54.4 % Ranked win rate this season) cannot be trusted with the pokémon you named and are much better off playing pokémon with lower skill caps. Slowbro and Umbreon are also amazing picks. idk what game you’re playing but your teammates must be fantastic for you to write a comment like this, or you’re part of the problem

      I think when people refer to carry they often refer to what characters can influence a game in a more positive direction and help overall team comp. I am way more excited to see a single Blastoise in lane than 3 attackers in the team. Blastoise cannot hyper carry the same way attackers do but he can influence the game in such a powerful way thru a combination of stun, damage, and secure. I have a 62% WR with Blastoise this season, and I've strictly played Pump/Surf this season. Blastoise is incredible even if he doesn't hyper carry in the traditional sense.

      With a 47% win rate over the last month or so, it's very difficult to make a case for this. I love Venu, and use it a lot. But it's silly to feed people this information with data like that 👍

    I think the best way to do this would have been to pick one of each class
