Thanks for putting this together! It's great to see some footage from pre, during, and post race. Coming out from PA, it was pretty epic to be around so many people I follow in the sport and watch on UA-cam. Appreciate the behind the scenes.
It truly makes Black Canyon very unique for that aspect. It's turning into such a media circus over there, but at the same time, didn't feel like it was being run by major corporations. It was a great blend of both worlds. Thanks for watching!
"Petter Engdahl moment" with the Terrex Speed Ultras? Happened to me, too. Only been wearing them on tarmac and gravel roads ever since 😂 Like them a lot, but a nightmare on uneven terrain - bummer! 😟
I think they will just take a bit more time to get adjusted to. I think that ankle roll was more my fault than the shoes' because I was running way too close to the person in front of me. That was the only roll of the day though, which is probably actually under my usual race average😅
@@ConversationalPace ok , maybe you are right but the 6 minutes to Brad you will definitely get 👍 try to race next time 😂, unleash the beast 💪🏻🏃♂️anyway , you are awesome commentator and runner 👍
Haha I totally hear you, but I've raced enough at this point where more focus isn't my problem to go faster. I actually feel that I ran the 2nd half as fast as I could on that day and I'm super proud of that. I'm very much enjoying this new way to enjoy my racing and adding an extra challenge to the day. Would I do this for a super high stakes race like Western States? 🤔😂
Good seeing you out there man! And great job! I’m the dude who wasn’t sure between the Tecton X2 and the Kjerag’s. Def made the right call with the Hoka’s. 🤘🏼🫡
A shoe review while finishing on the podium … Dude! That’s sick.
All in a day's work!🫡

Great video. Super entertaining
Nice work out there!
Great video Brett! Love this style of content on top of the shoe review
Thanks for watching! Was definitely fun to try and review a shoe while actively trying to stay upright 😂
Great fucking job out there, Brett!
Thanks! Was such an awesome weekend to be a fan, commentator, and runner!
Alllllrighty then. Bumblebee tuna everybody.

So, spill the beans : new Terrex - okay for your ankles? It's all I need to know 😁
It felt great on this course! If I was going longer and slower, I wouldn't hesitate to take it on slightly more technical terrain.
@@ConversationalPace thanks! And, of course, congrats 👏👏
Great video I liked the part when there was running stuff happening big thumbs up from me
You watched the right video then!
nice !
Brett , you know that you would probably win the race if you stopped making content?😂🏁👍
Do you know how much I lost by😂. No amount of additional focus was going to beat Eli out there😂

single track with cacti left and right.....uh, no thanks. Muy bien senor Hornig
Haha definitely an added element of excitement! Also forced you to go through all the mud at the beginning!
Hold up, same socks two days in a row…? 🤮
Gotta travel light I suppose😅
