I bought this same spec laptop back on Dec of 2023 and I choose this over the slightly better performance Predator with rtx 3060 because of how good the Predator Helios Neo 16 temps is. My temps never reach 70C on all games I tried (max graphics) and I dont even have an AC in my room, plus my country is hot af (Philippines). Probably it liquid metal and 5th gen fan blade made the difference. Its so unreal that I am actually wondering if these temps reading are even accurate lol. Compared to my Asus TUF who regularly reach 90C in 10mins of gameplay, my Predator in 3 hours of gaming no prob.

I think You should Go for Acer Predator only because it has a much better cpu and nitro 5 got ddr 4 ram while acer got ddr5 which affects a lot also 4000 series comes with frame generation(sure Gpu performance will be better with nitro 5 but its not always about gpu only)
It's been almost a year of me using this laptop The CPU temps have gone up, now they cross 95°C on turbo mode with maxed out fans unlike earlier with max around 85 rarely touching 90 And also the performance has dropped, like in VALORANT I get only about 150-200 fps. I mean FH5 still has somewhat same performance at 1080p Ultra with RT Ultra around 80-90 fps but temps are 90°C min Is this normal? Because performance drop is a bit too much or there's something I'm missing. I mean I usually try to blow air into the exhaust and some dust comes out and that's that. Ambient temps in my area are around 30-40°C and it's a rainy season right now Someone help😢

Because of this, we get +120 pixels on the screen and black bars at the top and bottom. I tried to turn on the video on UA-cam while in the store on the laptop from your video and on another laptop with full HD. Indeed, the same video is displayed differently, at 16:9 normally and at 16:10 with small black bars. But I'm more interested in games. As far as I know, Elden Ring has a problem with supporting all display aspect ratios except 16:9. When in game, do you have any problem where the games are not fully occupied the screen of laptop? Like for my case, when i open the game's main menu or during cutscene, the top and bottom part of the screen are blurred or totally black.
It will not black if you play games at native resolution of the laptop's display that is 1920×1200
@@PCSupportGamingTest turned out that my native resolution is 2560x1600 and my in game resolution is also following this one.. After i adjusted the in game resolution to 1920x1080, the blurry part is gone..
