I’m pleased there’s no pollution being caused
here in the UK apparently we are guilty of less than 1% of the worlds pollution or whatever, but punished everyday
every pollution cleaned by workers lung ,stomach, etc.. so there is no pollution.
Stop pretending to care
What a wild mix of cast iron, sheet metal, silicon steel laminations, and misc. junk. Such a mishmash that neither Bessemer or Carnegie ever imagined.

"Steel" Thats a far stretch of the imagination when you see aluminum radiators with copper frames going in the mix.
Its an ancient herbal blend.
@@martinswiney2192 LOL!
There is no way aluminium, brass or copper went into that crucible, those metals are so valuable someone would separate them by hand to collect the scrap.
You need to open your eyes then because you can see whats going in....@@andrewallen9993
Buyer: So, what alloys do we have here? Seller: All of them.
It is not steel. It is cast iron. Steel requires O2 to burn the carbon out.
@@reverendfry6088 that is far from "cast iron" that is about the lowest quality pig iron you can get, if you even want to call it that... They are just tossing stuff into a furnace with no additives or even quality control... their QC guy is probably a blind dude sitting in a shack with a roll of "QC PASSED" stickers...

In the dirt. Always in the dirt.
Yeah, what's up with that? I watched several videos of this kind and they do all kind of interesting stuff (of dubious quality though) and all these shops are basically a dirty yard with no roof or anything resembling a factory.
I mean, they are obviously skilled enough to improvise anything, but can't be bothered to lay a concrete slab?

Not sure if I'd call this "incredible" but hey, at least they're trying. Anything that doesn't end up in a landfill is a plus in my book.
@@joaocosta3374 _Anything_ is better than the landfill, both for the land itself AND the people.
Not so much. We've seen this style of casting done to make safety-critical parts, like brake drums and such. That is not better than putting the stuff back in the earth or using a rational process with sorting and QA and such.@@PackthatcameBack
Could be ballast / drop-weights for a submersible - they're heavy, cheap, etc
That's actually a quite sensible use for this kind of "metal": many household appliances like washing machines, desk lamps etc. come with a large slab of some nondescript metal for added weight/stability. Better than poured concrete, I guess. Also gym weights etc., they don't need to have particularly good qualities.
Steel content would of gone up if they dumped every wheelbarrow in as well
Provided that the wheelbarrows were not made of similar "steel"
The dioxin levels around there must be off the charts.
"dioxin",,,, oh yes saheeb, de oxen died months ago !
The little needle on the toxicity gauge went around so far it's gone through the "red" and is pointing at "safe" again.
You need chlorine in the environment to make dioxin.

Camera work is excellent 👌
Have seen this myself , went to a brass foundry in Deli many years ago, they throw any old rubbish in the melting pot, hence the finished casting has porosity

Да они там сталь с медью вперемешку плавят. И какая прочность у такого металла? Потом наверное гаечные ключи делают, которые как песок рассыпаются
don't think these kinds of -metal bars - can be used for anything further. maybe cut into smaller bars.
And then used as a ballast or the likes. since it is no clean metal. or aluminium, copper or the likes.
- open hearth furnace, - some of the oldest and most primitive furnaces.
but for the product they make, and there must be a demand, otherwise they would not make them?
Safety enforcement, air pollution, smoke pollution, all non existence.
Suppose al these not doing them are reasons why they can produce what they are producing?
If it so much as looks like metal it's going in the melter... Metal quantity is more important than quality it seems.
How they used to do things in Great Britain in 1850.
And where the machines ended up when they became obsolete.
This is NOT recycling, this is pure nonsense material: high carbon steel + mild steel + high silicon steel + stainless steel + aluminum + copper + whatever... what a crazy mixture...
Für dahinter reicht es um neue Schubkarren zu basteln.
In your perfect world, It might not be your version of recycling but it’s better than going to the landfill I’m sure you will agree. Give them some credit.
Well done!☘️👍
Its Pakistan 😅
@@donalfinn4205 Actually it would be much better, because these metals aren't pollutant materials, and in case you don't know they usually make rebar with this "material" which can lead to buildings structural collapse and people get killed. So in you perfect world is better to kill people than send some trivial stuff to landfill... Very smart
Очень трудно определить марку сплава.🤕🤕🤕

I'm surprised the weight of the metal doesn't push out that loose sand plug
Amazing scrap metal turning to steel
I really hope they get some better quality management. To even think of this potpourri blend they tossed into the crucible as "steel" just boggles the mind! They definitely need to have a covalence magnet sorting the metals out instead of just throwing it all into one giant melting pot. It's like a lucky dip, except the buyer will be lucky if he gets a quality iron product out of any of it!⁉❓❔
It's not hi-tech but there are two positive aspects: 1) recycling; 2) employing people who need jobs.
@@thinkforyourself21093) destroying their ground and water supplies
@@joaocosta3374 Like separating out those motor stator cores. Those are low remanence silicon steel which even rolled into sheet in these bastard conditions would be better than what a lot of motor and transformer factories of this tier use. Same with melting out the aluminum from those motor rotors. There's a good 1,500°F difference between where aluminum and steel melt so temperature control wouldn't be critical. Just use an oven so the steel cores don't sit in the molten aluminum and dissolve iron into it.
No air or water pollution!!! Great solution!!
Poor buggers, walking around with no safety gear and breathing in the toxic smoke. I can’t imagine what’s in that smoke with all the paint and other crud burning off the metal.

The whistling is caused by the air fans. As for occupational safety, the most important thing for these workers is to provide a living or they will simply be expelled. It is very unfortunate.
