I had this lens. It is sharp but I ended up selling it to a friend of mine who has a D7500. Figured he could et more use out of it than me. Thank you for the fine video Jules.
@@Farbroe The Z8 is smaller and lighter than the Z9 does most things just as well. My point was that the Z8 can replace both a D500 and 850. Thanks for watching and your comments.
Thanks for the video. I agree with your premise that the z8 replaces both dslrs. i sold my d500, but kept the d850 as it can behave like a mirrorless camera. My z8 is just for birding and so, the long lens remains fixed to it. It is a bit big for walking around ( for me), so i have the z7ii for that. i frankly do not need a d500 replacement as the z8 does it all.
Good reminder about the replacement of these 2 wonderful bodies… the issue is that it costs itself more the the 2 others :)

@@leod1671 Thank you Leo.
01:08 I'm not sure if understood you correctly here. But, if price wasn't an issue, all of us would own the Nikon Z9 right?

There’s no way I’m spending over $3000 for a body.
@@powbobs A lot of people can’t or won’t. There are plenty of great cameras under 3,000. Thanks for watching.

Which long lens are you using on the Z8? Thanks for watching and your comments.
