tracker4 de bounty hunter metal detector I love it,, use for about a year,, sold it to get a vanquish540 bundle 2 weeks ago I still learning ow 2 used, but I miss my old tracker4 so I order another one suppose it will b delivery Monday🙃i really recommended,,,muy buen detector barato,,bueno y resistente,,ahora tengo 2,, now have two metal detector vanquish and traker4 love it.

FTP should:
Retire that housing (make a smaller box).
Dump the useless meter (unless your deaf). If they want to have an intensity meter then make an 8 segment LED one with the option to turn it off (maybe through the battery compartment). An optional vibrate mode module that plugs into the housing, and straps to the grip would be cool
(as well as silly at the same time).
Make it 4 AA, or single 9 volt powered (that dual 9 volt is so old school).
That tone mode that acts as a notch discriminator sucks. Just give the option of disc 1 tone, 2 tone, 3 tone, and 4 tone modes. If they feel notch is a must then do it with it's own pot with an off setting (maybe dual pot with one being notch width).
Volume control would be nice.

You are right, this machine has been around forever and continues to be their top seller worldwide even though it is old technology. It still finds plenty of items and for those that want to try out this hobby, its not a bad first detector. Its about time for FTP to come out with something more modern and little birds are whispering, that is about to happen.
