  • For our Groundwork to Grow course on Livestock, we headed to Honomu to visit Sugar Hill Farmstead. Farm owners, Bodhi & Brittany Anderson use sustainable and regenerative farming practices and sell a variety of products including:
    Locally raised and processed:
    Grass-fed & grass-finished beef
    Grass-fed & grass-finished lamb
    Pasture-raised chicken
    Pastured pork
    Organically grown rabbit
& a range of artisanal provisions
Groundwork to Grow is a collection of four-week exposure-based trainings on various agribusiness topics. The program was created to support military veterans and community members interested in farming and ranching on Hawaiʻi Island.
