Livestock Course: Rotational Grazing and Ruminants
For our Groundwork to Grow course on Livestock, we headed to Honomu to visit Sugar Hill Farmstead. Farm owners, Bodhi & Brittany Anderson use sustainable and regenerative farming practices and sell a variety of products including:

Groundwork to Grow is a collection of four-week exposure-based trainings on various agribusiness topics. The program was created to support military veterans and community members interested in farming and ranching on Hawaiʻi Island.

This course consisted of 4 Field Days at local operational farms and businesses on the East side of Hawai’i Island, and 4 Virtual Classroom sessions via Zoom.
