When I was in kindergarten the school did hearing tests and I was so scared of being in the room alone with a person I didn't know that I didn't raise my hand for any of the beeps and my parents later got a note saying I needed hearing aids.
fun fact: I went to an eye doctors office for a general check. and involuntarily shivered. they asked if I was cold and then I was like... shit now I have to explain asmr.

I had a hearing test once and they used headphones but they didn't go on/in/around your ears but instead (I think) it sat behind your ears and you could hear it as if it was normal headphones
This whole video is so fantastic, except for the turning fork. The ringing is lovely, but the initial slapping is such a sharp, jolting sound. Is there any way to soften that? I love everything else so much, but those cracks wake me up every time! 😭
