Texas is going to be tough to beat and Steve Sark is the coach that I wanted LSU to recruit instead of Brian Kelly. Go Longhorns, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Nobody is counting them out. But if Texas had played Tennessee and Oregon and absolutely decimated them nobody would be giving Ohio State much of a chance either. Perception is reality.
It’s not perception. They actually beat those teams. Each game is new data sets being added. Osu has the two best data sets in the game. They have shown they can get to that level. Texas hasn’t. Arguments for Texas are all if Texas does this or that they CAN get to osu level. For osu it’s just doing what they’ve been doing again. We’ve seen it
ya i know but also Tennessee played in sub freezing temps at OSU (something they never do) and Oregon had almost two weeks off against OSU. That might explain those blowouts. Remember they still lost to Michigan not that long ago. Lets not give Ohio State too much credit.
@@matthewc164texas and ohio state have both won two playoff games and are one game away from a national title. they play the games for a reason. it will be a tough one 🤘
@@SGobuck This does not make any sense. A natty would only drive his NIL or draft stock up. No one is trying NOT to win a natty when their play is about to come under scrutiny.
I'm not counting them out. OS did beat Tennessee and Oregon pretty bad, but Tennessee wasn't very good, and it was very cold in OS. Oregon got caught cold in the first half due to being off for 3 weeks.
This reminds me of the Michael Crabtree year. Texas had beaten OU by 10 points. OU had great style points for the rest of the year. They also lost to the Gators by 10 points in the Championship game. The Longhorns should have played in the Big 12 Championship based on head to head against OU. A bad system kept the Longhorns out. Texas would have beaten Florida, but it was not meant to be. OSU has tremendous style points right now, but Texas is the better team. Go Horns!!!
If Ohio State had not screwed around and lost those two games by four points, they would be talking about this as one of the great teams of all time based on the talent of the roster
Texas didn't make this far being an easy team to beat. Yeah the defense got smacked in the ASU game after thinking they were going to cruise. That's not the unit everyone is going to see on Friday. Everyone is dismissing Texas and saying they have no shot. I understand OSU is a buzzsaw, but Texas has plenty of firepower to win themselves.
Fozzy skips the part where Texas needed a missed targeting call on ASU to advance. OSU is straight dominating its opponents. The refs tried to keep both Tennessee and Oregon in the game during the second quarter. Journalism is based on evidence. It is too many interviewees talking like Texas is going to get some home cooking at the Cotton Bowl. If Texas miraculously scores during the first quarter and another targeting call, people will be done with the playoffs.
Texas lacks the discipline to play clean football. The penalties, inconsistent running game, not having a dual-threat QB to extend plays or avoid tackles, and no one to match up against Smith #4 of OSU. The Texas defense may slow down OSU's offense, but it will not be enough to stop the experienced and willful Howard. Texas also doesn't have a reliable kicker. Texas is also susceptible to fake or trick plays. I don't see Texas pulling a win here. OSU by two TDs. A great season for my Horns, nonetheless. \m/~v~

Recency bias is floating osu to the natty…
The longhorns are stopping them from getting there
Texas hasn't done anything like Ohio State has the past two weeks all season. Will you call it recency bias if Ohio State destroys Texas as well?
I mean if the tennesee and Oregon games happened last week or 9 weeks ago they are both still better then anything Texas has done all season.

If Ewers is thinking about next year and hitting the portal, he's not thinking about winning a championship. This could get ugly fast.
@@SGobuck if Ewers manages to win the National Championship, he's not going through the portal....He's going pro.

Best Texas Football player names:
Fozzy Whittaker
Little Jordan Humphrey
Dicker The Kicker
Quan Cosby
Great list... it's actually "Lil' Jordan".... Some others:
Major Applewhite
Colt McCoy
True freshman tend to make freshman mistakes. I am talking about Smith.
