As a Hindu from India, just want to say that this is BEAUTIFUL. Your art Khokhloma is so similar to "Alpona" which would have symbols of rice fields, fish, wind, coins, conch shells, etc. Even your word "Pryanik" sounds so close to our Sanskrit word "Pranik", which comes from the word "Pran", meaning, the soul, therefore, pranik being everything related to the soul. Thank you for sharing. I know we too have rituals, like the Pagan ones, where we tie colorful strings to the trees and hug the trees to ground us and we talk to them... The world is truly one. Much love!

It is so interesting what you are telling to me! I have never heard anything about "Alpona", but I've just check in Google and yeeeesssss! it looks similar with "Pryanik". I need to learn more about "Alpona". If you have an access to Instagram please find me there @idv_gallery. I will share your comment there, because it is very curious comparation. Thank you a lot to let me know the new things!
