Walmart has some AMAZING items this August!! If you enjoyed this video, please give it a THUMBS UP as it really helps the channel! 😀 Did you see anything awesome at Walmart this month that I missed? Should I start making more Walmart videos?👇🏼 Comment below👇🏼
I worked for Walmart for 13 years, I'm disabled now but can explain why you find some items at a lower price at some stores. The home office will set the price and clearance prices for the items in the store. But then give certain Store Managers a discretionary amount that they can choose what they can further discount. This is a limited amount at certain times. So if the store is about to have inventory and the lawn and garden department is still loaded with inventory, the store manager can mark down items to clear merchandise out so inventory is easier. Or if the season is about to change and there was an item that didn't sell well at this particular store, the manager can mark it further down to get ready to change seasons. And the third time it can be used is if your store got an insane number of a particular item he can reduce the price to move the item. One year we received thousands of this particular T-shirts in Women's wear. Our manager marked them to a dollar and they started moving out to make room for the fall items. We had 2 end caps, and 4 tables full of these shirts. I purchased 10 pink, 5 black, 5 white, 4 blue, and 2 grey.
I like how you are doing the price comparison on just about all your videos now. I really appreciate it. I live on a very small check every month. For anyone, who may have a couple of extra dollars. Pick up some extra school supplies and donate them to a school. I always send extra with my grandchildren, for those children who parents, grandparents or guardian cannot afford them.
Parents if you can afford the couple extra cents, please buy your kids the crayola art supplies. There really is a difference. It will help your budding artist. Using the cheaper brands can be very discouraging. The colors are never quite right and the performance isn’t the same.
I rarely go to Walmart and I went just yesterday to buy maxwell house instant coffee which target stopped selling. I wish this video was out by then but I didn’t see those prices/deals in school supplies. I’m an adult who likes stationary for diff projects lol. What I do hate about Walmart is the items are all over the shelves and since they’re not individually marked, I have to read small bar code numbers/descriptions on the shelf to match item to price. Most of the time, be just left the items at the check out counter bcoz prices were higher than what I thought they were. Also, I don’t like Walmart putting yellow/red stickers to psychologically fool us into thinking items are on sale! As a visual person, I first thought many items were on sale but nope, it’s their regular prices. Too many issues with Walmart and their staff, I avoid as much as I can. Still live Matt and his other videos and bought things thanks to him!!
I really like that you’re doing research online and giving the occasional HeadsUp on better deals. It’s easy to go ahead and get what you need when already at Walmart but it gives options for those for whom $20 matters and a week waiting for delivery is no obstacle. (Or even, preferred!).
It's Walmart, what do you expect? Also, some people appreciate these videos, especially since groceries have gone up! Saving money in other areas is always nice! I appreciate the Deal Guy! Thanks! 😊
I have to tell you, that after watching you on my tv whilst visiting me in Florida, some of my UK friends continue to watch you in the UK even though they don't have these stores there (well, except for Costco but they don't necessarily sell the same stuff as in the USA) Must be your riveting personality ! 😃
Those $8 quad chairs would be perfect "back to campus" dorm room furniture -- cheap and compact to pack in an already-stuffed van or car trunk for "move-in day".
Idk why. But you are so entertaining to watch ! Lol 😂 I’m feeling the positive vibes. Thank you. Additionally wanted to mention- it’s very pleasant and feels “family-like” when your wifey or kiddos make it on camera too. So it doesn’t feel like just product reviews on one self. I’m sure most viewers have families here- so feels more comfortable and relatable 😊 thank you
I bought a tone of school supplies for a lot of children who really can't afford to buy much and gave them out outside the school in bundles. The kids loved them Jr. high and High School too...I did buy 6 of the under bed storage containers for Blankets when they are not being used.. I also bought one of the retro Microwave Ovens and donated it to my neighbors girl for her class so the can make Hot Chocolate in the winter time in their classroom. I love spoiling the children, mine are grown now....Thanks Matt for shopping with us again....
What a wonder you are, paying it forward and helping children who need it since you no longer have children at home. Wouldn’t it be great if more people would do that and we could get children who really need help the supplies to help them get off to a great year! Congratulations you’re amazing 🎉
I bought those solar pathway lights for a dollar apiece at the beginning of the season. I have used them on all my camping trips. I mark pegs for my tent that are trip hazards. When I’m home I put them out on the fence and the gate they have been running nonstop since I bought them in April pretty good for $.97!
I buy those under bed storage boxes to store my paperback books. I have so many and they just don't display well. So under the bed they go. Each box holds around 30 books and you can buy replaceable labels for the box which makes life easier. Hope that helps someone! 😊
I really like your videos. We are in the market for a new mattress. I don't recall a review on them. Its almost overwhelming trying to pick out the right one for us. Please help with some good tips. Thanks Deal Guy
The 65" TV you are featuring is a really good one. I have the 60" and I picked it up at Sam's for me the same price several months ago. The color is very good and I'm quite happy with it.
OMG! YOU CHANGED MY LIFE IN THE BEST WAY TODAY by including the 3 in 1 leaf blower, vacuum and mulcher at $54! We are plagued with tons of leaves at our rental property and from the nearby units that blow them into our yard! That mulching feature turn 16 bags of leaves into 1! My problem is being disabled with no truck I have no way to haul off the 32 bags I rake up a year! Now it will be two that are easy to use as mulch or add to the trash! I opted for another longer wheeled version that elimates pressure on my back. I never would have found it without you!!! Thanks!!!
Matt, you should do a video on Walmart clearance!! And utilizing the app to price check. There’s soo much that isn’t marked or is already clearanced but marked lower than the tag.
😂 You made me laugh when you stated that you had such a "marvelous" time getting the entire family to look like a picture! When my kids were small, I only had film that I had to pay for to be developed. Be so thankful you don't have to spend a fortune to get ONE good "enough" picture. 😊😂🎉
I bought the 3 burner BBQ at Walmart the weekend after 4th of July for 107.00. I can attest that this BBQ is a great BBQ. The smaller size is perfect for the food i cook and my household size.
Shopping at Walmart is painful enough - but different prices at different stores and different checkout prices from the shelf label make it even less appealing. I wish they'd just price it fairly and consistently, then I might actually walk into a brick and mortar Walmart. Maybe.
Somebody I know went to a Walmart and the price in the store was more than online, when asked to get the item for the same price as online (Walmart website) they said they couldn't do that & Walmart has even said they're not obligated to match THEIR OWN PRICING. They're one of the greediest, vilest companies plaguing the U.S.
Those mini fridges are good "back to campus" buys, too; just check the size limits on fridges for your kid's dorm. (That larger mini-fridge would also make a good supplemental refrigerator for the home; we've had one that size in our kitchen ever since our son went off to college over a decade ago.)
You completely missed purchasing a refurbished Chromebook from Walmart. I have purchased one just last month for delivery at a total of $76.59 Samsung touch screen convertible Chromebook to tablet form. With warranty for 2 years included in that price.
Both of the microwave ovens are good "back to campus" buys -- but check size & wattage restrictions for microwaves in your kid's college dorm. (We have been using our daughter's 700W microwave in our kitchen ever since she finished grad school almost 5 years ago now.)
Hi Matt!! Awesome video on Walmart!! You showed some stuff that i don't normally look at but will next time I'm in mine!! Thanks for all of your hard work!! ☺️
Thanks for all the information Matt! I look for your videos before I go shopping anywhere now! Never realized how much you can save when someone like yourself, for example, does all the leg, hand and brain work to figure out the best prices possible. Question? Are Sam’s Club prices better than Walmart prices considering they are all part of the same company?
Thank you!! Going to pop on down to a couple of WalMarts today to see what I can find here. I noticed my closest WallyWorld is clearing out a few clothing items, and found men's Hawaiian Button Down shirts for $1, and infants to 5-Toddler knit separates for 25 cents. I've been told YSMV "Your Store May Vary", so am mindful of that, but it's really fun to see what you can find while looking for your featured items!!!
@@thedealguy I’d love to see those videos But I’m not fully sure what everyone shops are target for, it’s not like Walmart where you shop at everything Target is a bit more pricier I feel like the main deals at target are gonna be clothing ones, especially now thanks to back to school
Ehhhh, Target doesn't usually have great or consistent deals imo/experience. It's probably more of a store for general shopping tips "Target secrets"-style, like their $1 section or grocery offerings...or how they often have better deals online but will price-match in-store. More like your vids about Marshall's or Homegoods I think. It WOULD be cool if you were able to uncover some kind of pattern to their deals; I've never really found one. Don't get me wrong, Target is a great all-rounder store and ofc quality comes with the slightly higher price tag, but...Target is USUALLY where I go when I can't find what I want anywhere else for a better price (though I will still check it), need something immediately and can't wait for Amazon, or if there's not an easier access store. I haven't been for a while, mostly because of the pandemic, but I think they've been working hard at expanding their offerings, eg cosmetics and they often have "celeb collabs", so it might be worth some pre-production research? I suppose it's not my go-to grocery store, but I know people who do regularly get their groceries there, so maybe they have better prices in that department.
Those chairs are PERFECT for kids/parents heading back into another season of boy/Girl Scouts! An amazing price! Those 1$ torches are fantastic for Halloween! And a great deal on under bed storage containers! Finally dumped the big waterbed and have an under bed area again to store stuff! Love how easy you make things for us…you are appreciated, we are grateful!! 💕
I'm so glad you mentioned the canning jars! I have been searching high and low for a decent price - and this looks like its a gret price .... I may have to make the 30-45 MINUTE TRIP TO MY "LOCAL" WALMART TO GET SOME
hi the deal guy 🤗 your videos are always awesome. unfortunately for me, the stores in my area usually do *not* have the items for the same price in your videos, but i continue to check and compare. tfs
Hey man love you but you missed 1 item on an amazing sale at Walmart at least online anyway is the PS5 controller. Right now it $49.00 and reg price is $70-$75. Ive personally never seen them this low not even black Friday. Controllers are rarely on sale. Gamers will stock up for sure.
Deal Guy, Love! your videos/never miss them but...that $300 HP laptop actually showed the problem: HP uses crappy hinges and the weird spots on the bottom of the screen you showed is an example of what HP does wrong. Yes, $300 is a decent price for a laptop but Amazon has several better-made laptops in the same price range. (HP is notorious for using crappy parts on its less expensive computers.)
Yeah, HP is not my go-to...even for the "better" ones. I often have to remind myself that he's only reporting on deals most of the time, and usually not reviewing or vouching the products themselves. Otherwise, I think he'd need another house for all the things he would have to buy to review for us! Lol
Depending on the store, all grills, pellet grills etc go out the door for 50% off! Every year they do this to make way for Christmas supplies. (Not all depending on storage and floor space)
Just wanted to give a follow-up on the ice maker. I received it Friday afternoon, and it was easy to set up and we made ice all weekend long. Great quality and the ice is perfect! Thank you Matt for letting us know about this deal!1
I decided against mentioning that as I didn't want to assume everyone watching this also has a Costco membership, but thank you for letting everyone know who does have a membership know!
i remember my parents bought me a Vizio 24 inch flat screen high definition TV for college. it was a big purchase like $250 or maybe more. this was when LCD flat screens were the new thing after plasma tvs. it conveniently died 1 month after the 1 year warranty expired. used my grandmothers huge rear projection tv from then on out until the plastic literally started to crumble. lasted about 20x longer than that high definition tv though
On those chairs in the beginning, if you are someone of bigger size, caution, the front legs do hurt the under leg sitting in them and they are not easy to get out of. And also keep in mind, the plastic cups, if you put anything cold in them, they will sweat so wrap a papertowl of something around them to keep other stuff from getting wet. Love the videos Matt, keep up the great work. 👋🤠
We are getting close to that danger zone (September-Black Friday) where buying anything is a risk because you might get a much better deal during Black Friday. However with inflation where it is, who knows what sales we even get.
I don’t know how I found you but it feels like you found me. Thank you deal guy for all the work you do! I have been watching your videos for a couple of months/ almost a year now and I don’t see that changing
A lot of Walmart is going through some big item changes so go atleast one a week to see what got put on clearance. I work at one on the MOD team. With our store we are getting rid of atleast a pallets worth of stuff each day.
I'm in Ohio and just saw the grills on sale Monday, but can't remember the price🤦🏾♀️ Recovering from Bask2School and getting ready for the holiday season...amazingly tempting deals though😉❤🙏🏾
I have had that $20 griddle for going on 8 years. Still works almost as good as the day I bought it. Takes a little longer to get hot than it used to. Only about a minute longer. but once hot it stays hot.
Not to long ago I bought a TLC 43 inch from Walmart. On the Walmart apps the price was 198.00 dollars it's working good for me living room. Matt God bless always 😊. 🙏
Thx! You are the one I look to to find out the best deals everywhere! I have told folks in the store checkout lines and at doctors' offices that they should watch you, too! Keep up the great work!🎉

Thank you!!
Thank you!!
Got the ice maker! Thank you so much, Matt! I've been wanting one forever and was waiting for the price to drop!! You're the best!! ❤
Just wanted to give a follow-up on the ice maker. I received it Friday afternoon, and it was easy to set up and we made ice all weekend long. Great quality and the ice is perfect! Thank you Matt for letting us know about this deal!1
The premiere edition of the Little Green Machine is $99 at Costco right now
I decided against mentioning that as I didn't want to assume everyone watching this also has a Costco membership, but thank you for letting everyone know who does have a membership know!
@@thedealguyAnd some of us don't have a Costco, so I appreciate the Walmart videos! 😊
i remember my parents bought me a Vizio 24 inch flat screen high definition TV for college. it was a big purchase like $250 or maybe more. this was when LCD flat screens were the new thing after plasma tvs. it conveniently died 1 month after the 1 year warranty expired. used my grandmothers huge rear projection tv from then on out until the plastic literally started to crumble. lasted about 20x longer than that high definition tv though
Thanks for taking us along. Saw some great items I will be purchasing. Blessings 😊
We are getting close to that danger zone (September-Black Friday) where buying anything is a risk because you might get a much better deal during Black Friday. However with inflation where it is, who knows what sales we even get.
My wife's car battery died and Costco didn't have that model, so across the street we went to Walmart that had plenty at $20 less.
👍 Finally! You should do a Walmart video at least quarterly, or almost monthly.
❤ we’re in it together ❤ good times to shop for cool things
I am glad you made a walmart video. Some of us don't have an Aldi anywhere in existence and Costco is quite a long way as well.
I don’t know how I found you but it feels like you found me. Thank you deal guy for all the work you do! I have been watching your videos for a couple of months/ almost a year now and I don’t see that changing
🎉 Always great sales when I'm broke 😢
I like this guys channel 😂 a girl loves Walmart and savings lol
A lot of Walmart is going through some big item changes so go atleast one a week to see what got put on clearance. I work at one on the MOD team. With our store we are getting rid of atleast a pallets worth of stuff each day.
I'm in Ohio and just saw the grills on sale Monday, but can't remember the price🤦🏾♀️ Recovering from Bask2School and getting ready for the holiday season...amazingly tempting deals though😉❤🙏🏾
I would like that frappe machine!!
Thanks Deal guy! Love it!
Thanks Matt. I always enjoy your presentations. I always want to go through the food isles with you.. 🤣
Blessings 🙏 for you and your family ❤
Thank you Cindy!
I recently bought an Roku ONN TV, the remote stopped working properly. The left click button stopped working. But that 85” TV is looking sweet at $798
You are awesome! I’m looking forward to your holiday videos!
I have had that $20 griddle for going on 8 years. Still works almost as good as the day I bought it. Takes a little longer to get hot than it used to. Only about a minute longer. but once hot it stays hot.
Wide mouth quart size jars are $14.97 in Central Texas today 8/16/23. Hope that changes......
I'm noticing the pricing on those jars changes around $2 depending on the store unfortunately
Same in AZ $14+
Wow. Walmart is rockin some good bargains !!! Thanks Matt.....you da man ❤😊
I truly appreciate anything you do. And Tks for sharing ❤
the Rubbermaid pitchers are fabulous.
More fantastic deals. Thank you. ... Glenda
I was able to get the 45.00 propane grill this morning. I came home, went to work, and then saw it on your video😊
Not to long ago I bought a TLC 43 inch from Walmart. On the Walmart apps the price was 198.00 dollars it's working good for me living room. Matt God bless always 😊. 🙏

Always got our back. Love your content
We love your channel. You have helped us save money . Thank you.😊
Thank you!
I've had that very same 4-cup coffee ☕ maker that you showed, since I moved into my current apartment (2019?🤔). Like it for the price especially
I watch your videos and then realize why everyone in this country has so much credit card debt and no room in their house to move around :) lol...
Thx! You are the one I look to to find out the best deals everywhere! I have told folks in the store checkout lines and at doctors' offices that they should watch you, too! Keep up the great work!🎉
Thanks for the video Matt! I watch all of your videos and they give me an idea of what to buy and where for the best deal!
❤ thank you Matt. I saw you talk about a rattan lantern at ALDI for $5, I quickly popped into mine. Nope $15 still.😅
He put a comment under the video, it was a pricing error at his store. $15 is correct.
The mini fridge at Costco business center is $30 off Hisense and was like $94 after taxes
Love this.
I just bought some stuff from Walmart, but I see I need to go back.
