I knew the Dorothy/Tony thing was going to get you, been waiting for that for a while now.
The writers always tried to end a series with a bit of uncertainty, like they did the previous series with Gary asking Dorothy to marry him and then starting this series with the wedding which then turned into the dream sequence.
Have you ever noticed that work Gary is very different to home Gary, as in he's sarcastic but is very much work-focused with good ideas and if anything, putting others down around him; wherease Home Gary dosses around and is laidback often gross or just with not very good standards and wants to be teenagery. Seems the title men 'Behaving' badly implies (at least with Gary) that he can be normal (at work) but behaves badly at home to let off steam almost.
Anyway! Another great ep, I had forgotten this one tbh! Dorothy and Tony would have made a much better couple yet we're used to her and Gary and so stick with that.
My gf was watching a 2022 movie The Invitation on her tablet and I noticed 'George' was in it! Nice to see he's still doing movies and TV!

Thanks for the saying; I didn't know that one. Does it mean that the man who's been cheated on cares more about his best mate than his wife somehow? I've just found a similar saying on Google, only this time it goes: "My best mate ran off with my wife (and Man do I miss him!)
I don't know why people seem shocked at Dorothy's unfaithfulness, when she is the one constantly taken for granted and expected to put up with Gary's constant flirting with other women. Tony and Dorothy are a better match than Dorothy and Gary imo.
Quite right, actually. I think the only reason why Gary's constantly flirting with other women is that he needs reassurance. He doesn't seem to get over the idea that Dorothy has had numerous boyfriends (and so has Tony with girlfriends!) whereas he's only had 3 or 4 girlfriends. He feels there's something missing.
Great episode and end to the series. I always remembered series 4 & 5 being my favourites, I re-watched those episodes a lot on VHS. Really strange to think that this is what a lot of teenage boys watched whilst teenage girls watched Friends (with maybe a few exceptions watching this reaction).

Hi Felix, you have no idea how much I had been waiting for your reaction when Dorothy and Tony started kissing 😄 I was wondering whether or not you would see it coming when they started talking about the Germans and then, the French having sex on a Saturday evening... It didn't look as if you had foreseen the situation coming, had you? I told you, a few weeks ago, you would have a bit of a shock! Well, here we are! I remember watching this episode years ago and suddenly realizing that they were just about to do something they would regret later on... Dorothy had a short moment of hesitation until Tony convinced her with the "exercise" excuse... In the past, some people on other channels commented that Dorothy was toxic or a bi*** and so on; Tony looked like an angel according to them... To me, both of them are guilty. As the saying goes, "It takes two to tango!" The funny thing is that, when they woke up the next day, they were torn between the guilt they felt regarding what they'd done the night before and the fact that they actually enjoyed it... Anyway, they were lucky enough to have a very forgiving (boy)friend... And now, we know that Deborah is a trustworthy person 🙂 George and Anthea are very funny in a nonsensical way, as usual...

I fell asleep last night Kid immediately after watching the episode lol, I just remembered I never left a comment. I actually didn't remember this happening with Dorothy and Tony lol, the joys of a bad memory 🤗
I think they both felt really bad,....but they also both enjoyed it, Dorothys obviously the one in a relationship, so that makes her bad for doing it, but also, Tony betrayed his best friend, so he's just as bad. I would have kicked him and her both out of the house if I was Gary!
It was good to see Anthea and George having some backbone as well lol.
