Even just watching it on the TV was absolutely sublime.
As a 47 year old who first seen Underwold in 1996, its great to see the younger generation coming through and loving Underworld as much as I did in the 90s. Underworld never age and neither should we.
They are like Mozart for electronics, they never become obsolete! In fact, considering today's music, they are even better than ever.

@@nuxxdk I dabbled most of my life in death metal and hard rock... listening to EDM on the side. Chemical Bros, Fatboy Slim, Orbital, Oliver Smith, Apex Twin, Daft Punk... sadly no Underworld. Better late than never.

Certainly Underworld are the most brilliant electronic music band of all times.
In 1999 my good friend who worked in cd store, introduced me the Beaucoup Fish album, then boom :) I was so amazed to hear this stuff, then he told me about Dubnobasswithmyheadman and Second Toughest in the Infants, on this very special day I fell in love with Underworld.
In November 2006 my wife and I were very lucky to see them in a live show in Sao Paulo Brazil, it was simply a fckin unforgettable show.
For me after all this years passed, Underworld always were in very high level and to this day they are still proving to the whole world. They are like the two most tasty old wines, Karl Hyde as the red and Rick Smith as the white.
The harmony between Rick and Karl always was beautiful and full of great & fantastic energies.
Thanks a lot also for Darren Price for his help and support in the live shows.

All the positive comments here just confirm that no matter how old you are .... if you make good music ... age is truly just a number ...... my dad is 94 and still appreciates this. `How lucky am I to have a dad who was born in the thirties and, who still keeps in touch with all kinds of music. I suppose being a jazz drummer helps!

This album was one of the best masterpieces ever created by the human race.
Saw them at the Hollywood Bowl with my wife years ago. That is the show we compare all other shows to. They are truly incredible and untouchable live, always!

After a good 15 years of being an Underworld fan, I finally scored some tickets to see them in NYC (they don't tour much in the US). But of course Covid hit and welp, guess I can wait another couple of years to see them.

For years, whenever people would ask me who my favorite band was I could never come up with an answer.
Then I finally figured out why: I was trying to think of guitars & drum sets when the answer was Underworld all along -since 1996.
There's never been even a close 2nd.

I worked for these a while back doing spotlight. Me and another of the crew had to stand in the pit with a heavy light and stand there pointing the light in his face for the entire show. That's how he's lit the entire show, by a crew member with a light in the pit. Imagine holding a weight above your head for an hour... Yeah it hurt 😆
well, the common shitty organization and irresponsible pre-production work causing ridicilious situations like this - that's really hurt. Don't blame it on Karl; artists, actually, has nothing to do with stuff like this.

The crew were all lovely and it was a pleasure to work with them. Although the followspotting was, shall I say unconventional, it was still a fun experience 🙏

love all Underworld except Born Slippy which was a moneyshot track. Second Toughest is a phenomenal piece of ART. I walked past a Camden George Orwell home for a few months absorbing London in 96. It was remarkable

You need to listen to more live music. Electronic music is by comparison to every other form, much easier to replicate live what was recorded in the studio.

There really is nothing worse than seeing so many people with phones out. So many people have forgotten what its really like to have fun. At gigs like this you should be lost in the music, dancing like your the only one in the room, not giving a single f**k what anyone thinks.

I saw then at Wembley late in 2019. Utterly brilliant. The light show alone was utterly amazing.let alone the great music. Frustratingly I have not been to another gig (bar the next day seeing Dweezil Zappa) since then thanks to Covid. I hoe they tour maybe next year, and I can get to see them again!
