Great video, Corey. Your new board is great and you did an amazing job of showcasing the XTS gang. Ref. the timing, that’s pretty much the same length as a normal TPS video, so I was very happy!
I tried a piece of laminate/plywood on my old Pedaltrain. It was just too heavy. I went to a local metal fabrication company and got a piece aircraft aluminum cut to fit for $20. I put a couple holes with a step bit. I would love to have XTS clean up my work.
Hello @coreycongilio. Thank you for another awesome video. You have inspired me to have another look at my small gigging board and redo it for next year. I have gone for the smaller pedaltrain Novo 18 and I already have a Gigrig QMX 6. But I will bet trying out the Benson delay and the MXR reverb. Thanks again.
@@coreycongilio i can't believe how early i got into this company. got an xts precision drive in 2006. before it was even a multi drive. still on my board.
Honestly I didn’t think I would watch (ok mostly hear cause I’m cooking dinner) the whole thing and usually don’t even videos at this long when when distracted by chores but this one flowed beautifully. Great long form video, I really enjoyed it
Another great atmospheric delay pedal is the Tera Echo 2 by Boss. I heard it on the JHS UA-cam channel and it does the almost reverb spaces subtle really well
Wow, Co-evolution of thought, unbeknownst to me i did the same laminate top surface because hated being dictated to by the Pedaltrain’s slots/rails. I like the minimalist switcher(!) but I’m an RJM boy all the way. That Lele volume pedal is on my Xmas list! Great video so much fabulous information, and I’m totally so glad you didn’t edit this down! Can you add to it? 😊
Thanks for the BTS Corey. Been following them thanks to Uncle Larry so XTS has been on my list for a while. Will have to hit them up in the not too distant future
awesome vid corey! imo, best underrated unappreciated wildcard all in one pedal with a small footprint and iOS app that works great: the Hotone Xtomp. beautiful industrial design as well and built like a tank.
Awesome vid. I usually don’t last that long watching but you kept it interesting. XTS makes some great boards. Just picked up the SLO 100R and X88IR….realized I don’t need a lot of pedals for those pre amp/amp. Now I’m looking at making a 3nd board just for them. The 2nd was an all "vintage" inspired board with mostly Warm Audio 😂 Keep them vid coming 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
REALLY good very helpful some cracking sounds there, phuur well made board thats how it should be neat tidy, thats a great idea wood under the pedals top job
Awesome board. How did you manage to put on 3M dual lock tape on the Dunlope expression pedal? This pedal has rubber bottom plate! Did you reverse bottom plate to the inner aliuminium side?
Thanks Corey for this very informative video. Love it! Can you tell us a little more about slapback delay? I can’t get a good sound with it. Thanks again.
Would a loop switcher provide the ability to change the placement of the volume pedal from before to after the drives? Or is a volumepedal not meant to be put in a loop? I don’t like big pedalboards, but I do like flexibility, so been looking at these quartermasters lately. Thanks, cool board man. Take care.
Having people build boards for you must be pretty sweet. As an amateur, it's not something I can prioritize. I don't have a UA-cam channel ether. Oh, well. I guess I just have to slum it out and build my own. Again. Oh, well. But hey. Nice board.
There’s definitely a level of commitment to a build like this. However, I’ve made changes and XTS is happy to help make it work without overhauling if possible
Come on Corey! The day you received your finished board you wanted to replace some pedals or make some changes! 😅 That's why I will never let me build a pedalboard. I make changes every week.
Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I bot a double loop pedal from china, if i let you borrow it, can ya try and do a instruction video with it? If ya like keep for a bit, i woukd like it mailed back as im a pensioner and only well, you know?

new subscriber here and new fan, you're a inspirational player Cory, can I ask what the total cost of a board like that would cost?
I got to play with Corey last week and can confirm...this board build looks and sounds incredible.
That was dang fun too
