I love how he explains the difference between a follower & an admirer!
A follower is or tries to be what he admires. An admirer keeps himself personally detached, he fails to see what he admires involves a claim upon him, and thus he fails to be what he admires, so he plays it safe.
I loved, the Cheaper Edition too! He is brilliant!
Admirers know it too well, that when they associate with him too closely, amounts to being up for Examination!
Thank you so much dear Nabil, May God bless you for making Soren Kierkegaard's work available on UA-cam!

Being raised in a false church, one of the daughters of pagan Catholicism, will actually turn you away from God - You will think you are getting all that Christianity has to offer, but Satan has provided you with a counterfeit, a comfortable, air-conditioned Sunday setting where you can sit and be a pew warmer for two hours once a week. Satan says and his demon preachers say "See, being a Christian isn't so hard: You don't actually have to do anything. You don't even have to read the Bible. Just do what makes you feel good and pray for prosperity in this world." False churches are filled with admirers and not even of the real Christ. No, the television has divorced TV-watchers from even a realistic portrayal of Christ. And you know people hate to read nowadays, especially challenging books like the Bible. So they actually admire a New Age antichrist in this generation.
