Great presentation. In the beginning of anything new, especially with religion, it takes courage to stand up for what you believe in. Society only rewards the majority, even when it is wrong. I so wish mankind as a whole with truth and righteousness would review the Revelation of Baha'u'llah. It just amazes me still, that in every age the test are the same, yet the people themselves do not reflect on how in past times "how" GOD fulfilled His Scriptures. Always a "new Name" and yet how similar yet building on what has already come.

Here's one thing I didn't really understand, which may be due to history not being a strength of mine. A 17:28, Mr. Spratt says that kings, tyrants, and emperors are all gone after the 19th century, except for a couple that led only in name. But what about Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini? Were they not tyrants who held great power over many individuals after the 19th century? Maybe I just misunderstood what Mr. Spratt was saying.
clex19 I think he is referring to the long dynasties that reigned for centuries and that type of ruling government.
Those tyrants weren't kings.
Why is there so much symbolism in religions? Why do they write in such a way? And then when it is explain rationally, I don't see any revelation. Even ACIM has this problem. Because of this, it's so easy to misinterpret religion. We already know that god does not exist as a supernatural deity outside ourselves who is looking after us whether we are good or bad-this is childish. It's time for people to know that being spiritually self realized is a state of mind that is realized in various ways and degrees. Especially by rigorous ascetic practice via deep meditation and rigorous discipline that would put to shame our respective clergies. We need a new radical understanding of God that is anchored here on earth or else the evolution of humanity will continue crawling at a snail's pace as it is now.
Symbolism is important because we can't have literal physical descriptions of spiritual matters. We can't know God, for example, except through His Manifestations (His Prophets), as is said in the Bahá'í writings, He is "the Hidden Mystery, the Treasured Symbol, through Whom the letters B and E (Be) have been joined and knit together." In other words, He is the Word of God, which emanates from God, through which creation has come about and which has been manifested throughout human history, the latest Word being Bahá'u'lláh. How do you really describe such a thing except through symbols?
I was Buddha since I was born 1957 I know Buddha was death but I believe that Buddha he got the knowledge from Lord to teach the people so I believe his Lord not Buddha I believe Buddha people miss understand they don't know what they are doing same as people in this world we miss understand in 45 years I was looking for my God because he saved my life four times I was Bahai 1986 in Florida I gave up 1987 in Dallas it seemed was not right to me i was been four Christian churches I rejected Jesus until January 2015 I went back to church in Anchorage Alaska I had too many problems my Buddha can't solve my problems I asked Jesus to show me "Jesus if you are really God of this World
If you are God who saved my life four times finally Jesus showed me a lot he called me up to sky not to heaven yet there was atmosphere the air was so fresh I felt so peaceful he called with small voice two times "come come "his voice inside my heart he didn't not tell himself that Jesus but I believe so and I said to him Jesus I know now where you are I need to go back I'm not ready
I am sure I can heal the sickness by his name I done before I knew him when I was twelve years old with the tongue language and and drew the cross to the body of the person who was sick I learned from my grandma she didn't even know Jesus in 1996 I visited Laos where I came from I casted demons out from two ladies by my Lord not by Jesus I didn't know Jesus yet but it worked now my self I believe the Holy Spirit is truly Jesus Christ October 11/16 he took me by dreaming to a big temple there were Christian group with multiple languages in the front of me and ahead there was a Buddha group I asked in my heart what are the Buddha doing?he said they're studying bible on the right hand there was a muslin group I asked what are they doing?he said they're studying bible next group there was Hindoo I didn't ask they probably do the same this is my experience that I have now
I study all the Faiths if your looking to resolve a spiritual dilemma reasearch for your Anseer in ALL Religions Krishna is wonderful for detachment Buddha for respect of all life Muhumudd for pure living as is the Bab answers are everywhere My life was saved by the Unseen realm and I lived in Both Worlds for awhile. I rely on All the religions for help the are all the Same Religion. I found that I cannot rely on any one religion to help me.
