I'm Mexican, in my mid 30s, and I get often get mistaken for a 14 year old. I'm short, small, and I have a baby face. There have been people that have talked to me with that annoying baby voice, exclaiming about how cute I am - in English and Spanish. When I was checking out houses with my mother, one of the realtors asked her if her little girl (referring to me) would like some candy. I've had older women come up to me and pinch my cheeks just a couple of years ago. I even have trouble getting my own mother to stop calling me cute with the aforementioned baby voice whenever I wear something that isn't jeans and a t-shirt. I don't like it. If I try to wear more mature-looking clothes I end up looking like a kid playing dress up with her mom's clothing. People don't take me seriously, and men treat me like jail bait. The mix of Indigenous and European features I have means I'm going to have to live like this for at least another 10-15 years. Lol maybe I should move to Asia. Perhaps people there would treat me my age.

I’m Italian American, so I obviously find Southern Europeans attractive but I find more attractiveness in East Asians, my current girlfriend is half Asian (mostly Phillipino, Chinese, and Japanese) and while for me when I like a girl (I like men just as much as I am Bisexual) it’s half personality half looks. I personally dislike bringing up ethnicity as a factor of attractiveness ( and racism is definitely a sensitive topic for me) but attractiveness is definitely possible in any human but remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder but for me beauty is also how people act. I’ve noticed East Asian peoples have very collectivist, civilized, and respectful cultures and as a Westerner I find that amazing.
As a Mexican American of Spanish/Mediterranean ancestry, I also find southern European women most attractive, by default. I always thought that anime girls looked closely like Southern European and Middle Eastern women with those big eyes, pale skin, and Caucasian phenotype.
Here's the mindset of Asians in Asia in general in terms of attractiveness : *Dark skin* = *Works in the field and exposed directly to sunlight* (Old stereotype of peasants since ancient times) = *Poverty* = *Unattractive* . It is more of a system that is rigged to other ethnicities who are born naturally in a darker skin tone, like how US is a more White (Caucasian) oriented society. But that does not mean Asians are not open-minded to one's personality --- Great personalities can easily alter stereotypes in Asia.
don't worry! In modern times, i think people are more exposed to other races now and is familiarized with darker skin tones. Of course there are lowkey discrimination still but we are definitely improving as a society. At least better than a hundred years ago..

Here's the mindset of Asians in Asia in general in terms of attractiveness :
*Dark skin* = *Works in the field and exposed directly to sunlight* (Old stereotype of peasants since ancient times) = *Poverty* = *Unattractive* .
It is more of a system that is rigged to other ethnicities who are born naturally in a darker skin tone, like how US is a more White (Caucasian) oriented society. But that does not mean Asians are not open-minded to one's personality --- Great personalities can easily alter stereotypes in Asia.
This is the only thing stopping me from visiting Asia. There is no point in going if I'm just going to be treated like an animal🤷🏾😭
