Dang. Why put me in this situation?!?! lol. I’d say for me, the violet. I do like the double switches if the longsword and the big box design though. It’s close
Sounds good ,Like most jhs pedals do.But take the place of my Pedal Pal 800? na dont think so,It does sound like an Andy Tlmmons when with a graphic eq after it.
Cool sounding, awesome looking JHS. Can definitely do those fast riffs i play. ... btw First riff sounded like Blues Pills - Birthday 😅,. Prolly wasn't.. also, Seven Days from Bullet for my Valentine crossed my mind. No, haha?
@@nikaxeguitar I've been wanting this pedal but it did sound bad here for some reason, didn't hardly adjust anything to get different sounds it was pretty much set to noon and forgotten other than turning the gain a little at the end.
You threw a perfectly good pedal away? I do not believe you. And we both know you will have another pedal that will replace this one in less than a year. Great playing though.
No offense but this was the worst I've heard this pedal, other than adjusting the gain a little there was almost no tweaking the controls for some reason.
Another JHS propaganda and rip off. He should use some His $ to treat workers in a better way. honestly there are 10's of pedals with such EQ, so why would somone get fizy, mushy pedal for 200$ when there are fat better options from 90's up to today? Of i know GAS, and JHS are great in marketing hype i gave them that much.
@@dominicijavier1575 She makes $, there are 10 000's of amazing players out there, but not all of them like to sell their holes for $ and fame. Some like, that is why they became stars.
@Van020280 yes i agree to some extent. Some maybe played but on YT people make $, and when some ''big'' brand kick out new pedals, then 10's of Tutubers will make biased videos. it' not 1st nor the last time. In the past We had great guitar magazines, then OK mags and advertisements, No more mags and we left with YT ''guitar related'' channels for guitar equipment advertisements, and ''guru gear'' talking. In both cases it is usually a 1st class nonsense. There are a few great YTC but they are not popular, all good ones i know are usually a lot under 10K subs. Some of the best are under 1000 ☺. I'm not subbed to all of them, but i keep links in a folder... Anyhow, you've made a good point. In an era where guitarists play at home with amp simulators or just a small digi amps, people have no clue how a good 100W or 50w sounds OD's and DS' are the simplest pedals out there with fuzz, but naive players will always gladly spent more $ on a ''new'' DS and OD pedal. Especially after hype, and when '' it cost a lot it has to be good'' - that is the logic nowadays.
This might be the perfect drive. Words I don't say lightly!
Seriously. This thing is damn near perfect!

Deathmask devine!🤘🏻
My Man! Love that riff
Not to nitpick, but I'd pay an extra $20-30 for a Q control on those mids.

yeah you got a snotty snarling growl there great tone
😉😉🤌
Lol yes, you severely dated yourself with that All That Remains riff...and me for that matter...dammit. 🤘👴
Still a solid riff!!
Distortion sounds muffled
The first sound when playing in due time is actually terrible. Wth, lol. Sounds fizzy and broken.
There’s literally no pleasing any of the tone gods on here lol
Amen. It did sound horrible
@@nikaxeguitar I've been wanting this pedal but it did sound bad here for some reason, didn't hardly adjust anything to get different sounds it was pretty much set to noon and forgotten other than turning the gain a little at the end.
That distortion on the first Kse song did not sound good
I think it sounds artificial and to fuzzy.

I do not like that tone tbh sounds incredibly brittle

Sorry but i will never replace my Revv G3 on this.
...So, they rebranded the Hard Drive? Uh, okay.
Nahhhh. It’s a little different.
People who like these things have never played a real high gain amp.
Yikes
Crap take. Not everyone can play a loud amp.
