Man this is crazy ! Ever since you got this boat . They stop showing you on my YT feed . Not mad tho cause I don’t need no boat lol but do miss the content . Keep up the great work .
When I was young Douglas Lake was the bass lake, Ft. Loudon/Tennessee River was catfish and general fishing and Cherokee Lake was for boating and fun. Norris Lake was for stripers. That was how we always looked at it. lol I'll jump in the boat with you any day, Dave. The water looks nice there.
Evenings and weekends are available to you until you finish your education. Catfish Dave is one of the few of us who fishes full time before retirement. Get a great job so you can afford your dreams.
I can't wait to get a boat. Over here in Oak Ridge, these surrounding lakes get pounded apparently and I can't wait to hit some creek channel junctions, rock piles, deep structure, etc. PS - nobody can "call their shot" like ole Catfish Dave!
I grew up fishing cherokee lake, you should try putting in over in grainger county and fishing the turkey creek cove, I caught a lot of nice ones back there
@dave, i know you don't do bank fishing anymore, but what weight would you suggest on sinkers for decent current 3oz or 4oz in thinking 3oz should be reliable but would like advice from someone i highly respect with more experience with catching large catfish thks
Dave has great videos, we watch a lot of them but prefer some of the other videos that catch smaller catfish. We're not crazy about chasing big fish and when you catch it throw it back. We rather watch catching a lot of 20 lb and smaller fish. But we watch the big fish shows too, just not our cup of tea. My wife says Dave must have took lessons from that Dieter Melhorn or whatever his name is because they both release the fish the same way. They just chunk them and thats the way we do it too. and we eat cheese and watermelon and the wife complains just as much as Dave does.
Nice video Dave! Thanks for taking us along! I always appreciate going out on the Catfish Dave cruise!
quality fish quality show Thank you for your time on the water.
Nice video Dave. I am the hunter you met at watts bar power plant a few years back, hunting from a canoe.

The Brits would bring limes on the voyage. That's where the term Limeys comes from. Always enjoy your videos, thanks Dave, keep them coming.
Good thinking on the scurvy prevention Capt. Dave

Thanks for the video catfish Dave 👍🎣🎣🎣🎣
That is a pretty lake. My problem at Cherokee is too much stuff on the bottom to snag on.

I just recently found your channel, and I’m in the process of watching them all. Do you catch and cook or just release
Lake temps were 63 today on Loudon, I caught some nice ones dragging. One 24lb one 23, and one 31lbs
🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍👍👍
I have a local lake like this. Its sure hard to land large fish from the banks. The monsters are there, just hard to get to.
Try that catfish sumo rod from kayak catfish, I'm curious on your thoughts about it.
roger that catfish Dave signing out !
Do you ever use the spreader boards in Tennessee River?
Ain’t nobody got time for scurvy…..😂

Good day to all, hookem Dave.
You are a funny S.O.B. Please don’t risk scurvy at risk of a video. LOL😂
Would you be opposed to do a charter with my son and I?
