Notice how often he washes his hands,I have been washing him for a while he is a great cook and teacher and always happy.
Daughter, stop trying to tell Deddy how to cook!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 He has this!
Representing Virginia, USA.
Meatloaf is something that can taste different every time it's made.
I make it for dinner but leftovers for the next day, it makes a great sandwich...just mayo on a hamburger bun white bread or sourdough.
YOU DON'T WASH GROUND BEEF!! That would be a slimy, greasy mess.
BTW: I'm not really a red meat eater, but I love this channel because of the warmth and comfort it gives me. I live alone and often times get pretty lonely-this channel gets me smilin'❤
Niiice!
Daughter, check your facts. It is NOT recommended to wash ground meat. Deddy knows what to do. Stop telling him what he knows how to do properly. I assume you don’t cook. I certainly wouldn’t want your wet meatloaf!!! My first time watching and I love Deddy’s sweet personality. I like this recipe but I would leave out a lot of those veggies, no peppers, carrots. My preference because I don’t like those veggies! You’re making fun of him in my opinion. How disrespectful! We don’t do that in Southern North Carolina! Looking forward to trying this recipe less the veggies except for the onions! Cook on Chef Deddy!!! 😊
I'm in Tennessee and I just love to see Deddy all happy and smiling! You guys are so wonderful!! Shout out to Mommy for keeping that man happy!! Respect!
Uruk will uou
What part of Tennessee are you in? I'm in Memphis there is no Jamaican food here ?

You didn't see black pepper because he called you Lima bean !!!
Deddy, you're more fun than a barrel of monkeys! I love your happiness.
Deddy's Kitchen is one of my favorite You Tube cooking channels. Deddy's meatloaf recipe tutorial is amazing and delicious. He packed this meatloaf with so much flavor and taste. Hi, I am from New Zealand, & I am the indigenous of New New Zealand love & hugs to you both
So! I was looking for a meatloaf recipe and didnt trust the recipes that were shown. THENNNN i saw Deddy made one! Say what?!? I saved the video right away cause ill be cooking it!
If you wash it with water, bacteria will increase and spread. Instead, just be sure to cook the ground beef thoroughly to kill the bacteria. If your really want to wash the ground beef, you can do it with vinegar but and squeeze out thoroughly the vinegar and let the beef rest for about 5-8 minutes to remove the acidity before mixing in the spices, herbs amd sauces. I also saw one chef who cleans his ground beef with rice wine or red wine but i have not tried it. I love this channel, Deddy is so lively not boring at all. This recipe is dope. 💜💜💜
I wash it and strained it with a fine hole straner with a little vinegar.
@@lyndaclarke9279 there is no need to wash it with water for the bacteria will more likely soread. Just put a litte vinegar and sqeeze throughly that bloody liquid from the beef.
@@meemac4709 OH ok 👍👌thank u.
Indiana here!! I’m making meatloaf tonight for my Ghana made husband😁Loved that you used all the seasonings you used!! I am now a follower ❤
I am from Missouri and I love watching Deddy work his magic. I enjoy watching him cooking. I love cooking his recipes. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family!
Wash the meat before you ground it is a simple way, but you must have your own grounding machine like when you make your own sausage.
Stop criticizing Sasha! She's a beautiful young woman who has a great relationship with her family. When she is talking, we all are learning!
Yes I see black pepper going in, I always enjoy Daddy's kitchen, watching from ja
Hi there. I’m a Californian , originally from Texas. I agree with Deddy ; we never wash ground meat. Not only does it never need it, but you can lose part of your meat if you do bc it’s not a solid piece of meat. Thnx deddy for your meatloaf recipe.

I did a UA-cam search for meatloaf recipes today. I watched about 8 to 10. This one has my vote for the best one...
And then he wants to take care of his neighbors to make the world a better place, makes this chanel even better. This is my first time watching, I am now a subscriber...
Deddy’s has a good disposition, you can tell he has Gods grace and a blessing to us with his recipes! I’ll take that third slice right there! Yum!
Yes. He did put in black pepper.😊
Keep talking. God is Blessing us through your Daughters Eyes. He loves his wife and kids
my mouth is salivating.....It looks phenominal...and the gravy at the end...
I am Cuban. My mom made Rabo encendio like it was nothing but, I gotta tell you. When deddys cooks is such an abundance of food. Woh!!!
I learned from Deddy to use parchment paper in the oven. When I need foil, I'll put the parchment paper on first then cover with the foil.....all the way from Dayton, Ohio ❤️
I found you all a few years ago and I watch every now and then when I need a traditional dish or just a traditional spin on a dish. For example today I want to make meatloaf and I found a video that looked flavorless and I was like Oh No I need Deddy's expertise and came right over 😌✨
I am from Atlanta Georgia and now I live in Charlottesville VA and my parents are from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
I'm in Sylmar California, I'm from Los Angeles nothing special 🥴. I love watching your Dad cook he's such a happy, inspiring professional Chef 👨🏾🍳. You both are so helpful with questions and answers you are blessed to be raised in a home full of Love, GOD, Joy , Peace and Great Food 😍🙌 THANK YOU JESUS HALLELUJAH GLORY TO YOUR NAME ❣️
This is my first time watching..... I LOVE Daddy and his words of wisdom.
I wash my ground beef with apple cider vinegar in a very fine strainer that separates the liquid and leave the meat intact.
It smells funny when not washed. The apple cider adds flavor too.
Maybe the meat is bad. Ground beef should not smell bad if it is fresh
I'm going to keep saying it! I need to see somebody take 1 bite of the food!!! Every great cooking show SOMEBODY taste the food. It completes everything.... And Deddy's Kitchen is a GREAT cooking show!!!
Yes he did put the black pepper. I want to see how you make oxtail I was married to a Jamaican and my mother-in-law used to make the best oxtail. I want the recipe.
Daddy knows exactly what he is doing!
He did add black pepper

Hi. I'm in Las Vegas Nevada. Love, love. Love watching daddy. He has the greatest spirit.
Man, that meatloaf looked SO GOOD, it left me drooling! I am inspired to make one soon.
I live out in Cobourg, ON and have a little harder time finding some of the seasonings in the boonies that Deddy has access to in the city, but Amazon has helped. They have a wide array of Cool Runnings seasonings at a reasonable price.
Love your channel! Your father/daughter relationship is a joy to listen to.
May God continue to bless your family.
Peace & Love...
GREETINGS FROM OKLAHOMA USA 🇺🇸 ! LUV THIS CHANNEL ! YOUR ENTHUSIASM IS CONTAGIOUS !
Meatloaf looks juicy and flavorful. Powdered seasonings have extremely high sodium content, if you blend garlic, onion, ginger, scallion, thyme etc. you will get great flavors and better control over sodium by adding your own measured amount of salt to taste. Maggi is a sodium rich seasoning- Worcestershire sauce or low sodium soy sauce are good substitutes. Can't wait to try this recipe with a few tweaks!
Hello, I love your videos! I'm originally from New Jersey, this is where I fell in love with curry goat. I now live in South Carolina where I can buy a whole goat. I've been curring goat more often using your wonderful recipe! Thank You and God Bless!
From Kerrville, TX. I just wrote down the recipe. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you guys!

GOD IS BLESSING THIS SEED OF THE FATHER TEACHING HIS RECIPES THROUGH HIS DAUGHTER
Good afternoon .
I am currently from Chicago Illinois .
My nationality is Puerto Rican.
Thank you both for sharing this amazing dish.
God bless you both.
Looks very good. I have to try it this way. And I also just learned to make the glaze. Thank you Deddy.
Tip for those who need it in addition to the dry seasoning you can just pour your favorite bbq sauce over the meat prior to cooking it you can also use a flat metal baking sheet pan or 2 identical foil baking pans to mimic the effects of using foil to bake it . The heat conducted from top to bottom will cook it completely for a smaller amount about 45 with the covering then remove and bake uncovered for additional 15 min with additional bbq if you want. When you put the sauce on it first it will seep the flavor into the meat while it cooking. Remember to let it cool for a least 20 min after baking so it doesn't fall apart.
I made this tonight! The flavours 🤤 recipe is a keeper. Used Deddy’s with love measurements 😍
Thank you sir 🫡 💝

Hello DK, I like the many vegetables you added to the meatloaf & turkey. I can't wait to start doing it this way. Thanks so much for your teaching of cooking.
Your family in Lexington KY is saying hello so grateful for you showing me how to make a delicious meatloaf,! That
When you are a regular cook you have a good idea of the measurements and Deddy is perfect for that
I just rinse of the top to remove some germs from the hands that package it. One time I did tried washing, straining it and squeeze out the water, and it definitely changed the texture. Not bad when making a sauce, but I don't think it would work for a loaf or burger patty. Love this recipe 😋 😍
Good Evening! Boy what a beautiful plate! May the Lord continues to bless you! You should have been a Pastor, your light shines! Blessings to you and your family!
