  • In this video we explore an historic language that isn't very well known. Monastic Sign Language was used in England throughout the medieval period, and may be the precursor to modern BSL.

      Unfortunately we haven't, we've not found a good book for Cistercian signs yet. If you have a recommendation do let us know!

      The ones in the video are definitely our favourites, but there are a number of signs which seem very obscure without context, mostly liturgical ones.

    so funny how christianity is the highest and most complete form of bdsm ever invented...! Anyways this video is really well made, I heard about it really quickly in a Greedy.Peasant book club video (check him out he's incredibly funny) and wanted to know more and now feel fulfilled
