Parallelism in EGW on justification is being made righteous. “How shall a man be JUST with God? How shall the sinner be MADE RIGHTEOUS? It is only through Christ that we can be brought into harmony with God, with holiness; but how are we to come to Christ?” Steps to Christ, p.23.1
Where does the Bible or EGW say Hebrew is Heavenly language? It’s just the language of the Hebrews. If God has chosen Babylonians, the Old Testament would have been in Chaldean language.
HOW can a professor of Old Testament not see that the Christian god was created by man in man's own image, not the other way around? The god they created hated and loved all the same things they did, and he engaged in and approved of slavery, kidnapping, genocide, and all kinds of other heinous things. Yeah, yeah, I know all the excuses and rationale offered on that god's behalf. But those require one of two things: either God was/is evil, OR that part of the Bible isn't true and no twisting and contorting to say it is both true and false at the same time. So if God is evil, no thank you. And if that part of the Bible is false, then one is left to pick and choose which parts are true and which false. And guess what the criterion is for that.... The parts that make God look bad are false, and the fantastical parts that we like (coming back from the dead and living for trillions upon trillions of years with permanent smiles on our faces, bored to tears) are true. The failure of logic in both the Bible and theology, along with the failure of prayer (ask yourself why God won't heal amputees) and the failure of God's unambiguous promises (ask yourself why he says anything you ask for will be granted but won't answer the sincere prayer an atheist begging God to enable him to believe)... renders this god no different from all the other gods: created by humans. Not real. But, LOL, religion is a huge business. If you insist on praying, pray for a godless society. Pray that people will simply live by what's true, loving, just, positive.... the Golden Rule.

Remember watching Dr. Davidson preach praying in the Sanctuary and the Three Angels Message around 1986 give or take 3 years in San Antonio.
