I had tried this method on one of these decks previously and I was dissatisfied with the outcome. I was able to clean it up with alcohol as you did. I may keep the phrases and write the keywords around the edges now. I just didn't like the look of the black out. I do like when keywords are around the edges as in the Mists of Avalon oracle. You have inspired me to go back and try that now.
