My wife also has a couple decks, all given to her by me. All of them are fandom decks that she’s super into. She has the Fallout deck, and on her birthday in a few days I’m giving her The Office Tarot. I plan on getting her The Schitty Tarot at some point too, but I have to save up for that one. Fallout, The Office, and Schitt’s Creek are all comfort fandoms that she revisits often, so even though she’s not into Tarot itself, she can get into those decks.

I’m super into the history of cards in general, and collect playing cards as well, so for those reason alone, I subscribed. Thank you for the video!

It's always fun for me when VRs to this randomly pop up, even after two years. There were some great tea variations to this one. I think Liz at West Star Tarot did a tea version. I loved your selections, and I love that you included Tarot for the Great Outdoors. That tarot is special. I love watching VRs. That Star Trek deck is so cool. I love how they dedicated one card to each episode. I can imagine the madness behind the scenes with planning. Loved your younger me deck. I've never seen it before. It reminds me of the daughter and the life I hope she gets to experience.

Hi. So glad to have discovered this. I am a total Trekie. I also have the Star Trek tarot. It was gifted to me by my daughters. No one ever shows this deck.

The app I used for this activity was called Mind Node - www.mindnode.com. There are many alternative apps if you search "Mind Mapping Apps" in the operating system you prefer.

Enjoyed your VR. 💜 These are so interesting and personal. I have no real interest in tarot-and-astrology videos but it's because I'm studying astrology and prefer these things separate - to me they don't inherently go together (and I'm looking at astrology sources that pre-date tarot), so looking at tarot correspondences at the same time would just feel very confusing to me. I also do love a good rant. 🤣

Out of all the video concepts you list in the pink category, my favorite is journaling 😊

I'm chuckling at you adding more categories, because I got excited wondering if you were gonna make those, but then later saying you don't wanna make them 😂 I also don't enjoy the livestream format - I may watch them after the fact, when I can listen at faster speed and skip through slow parts. Great point about either long videos or just short bite-size (lunch-size lol) videos. Jotting that down 👀 haha I also felt like I was "ranting" about stuff in my video, even though I also said I wouldn't make pet peeve/rant videos 😂 Maybe we just have to sneak them inside other unassuming videos LOL Looking forward to brainstorming videos together next year, pal!! I enjoyed this! I do love a planner video. 📖 Every time around this year, I consider my "card of the _____" frequency (like, do I want cards of the week? Month? etc. It is a thing I routinely change but when I decide on it in December, I feel committed and stick with it for the year. This year I've had an animal of the month as well as a card of the year (World) and also daily draws but have done and enjoyed weekly as well so who knows what 2025 is going to look like! I like this planner you showed -- a nice mix of structure but also customizeable/free form.

I haven't been brave enough to write on any cards yet 😅 I love that you've got personal connections with the Great Lakes Tarot! It's a wistful dream of mine to have a deck I have that kind of connection to, as well. The misuse of thee & thy in the SOTW Oracle(s? I don't know if it's happened in more than one) drives me nuts! The lack of copyediting 😭 Agree that having just keywords would make it way more interesting to work with! I think (or hope) there's other decks that people have created related to the Pagan holidays, that could be more up your (or our) alley. (parentheses city here LOL)

For me I read the courts in lenormand like I read the courts in playing cards. Otherwise I think it's so-so on playing card alignment or I can see how you can get from one to the other

This was such a wonderful video, thank you for sharing these different methods with us! I’m doing my first (I think?) deck study at the moment and it was so inspiring to see the ways you go about it. I also really appreciated the moment of silence, I know how weird it feels to make UA-cam videos while the world is burning, my perspective is that sharing our interests is the stuff that fills our cup so we can keep going with our solidarity and actions the rest of the time. Grateful for you 💕

Enjoyed this! Getting messy is a good tip - very freeing. I really wish the Great Lakes Tarot had an essay book; I am making my own guidebook for it right now, with much of it done - I'll share it later. I have looked at the Rust Belt Arcana many times - it's so beautiful - but I am just not sure how I'd get on with it having never lived in the region. It would be an "opportunity for learning" deck for me I think, which is also a nice thing.

Thoroughly enjoyed this! I'm planning to get a set of dice but certainly will want to consider environmental impacts in the production. I've got a few sets of inexpensive plastic/acrylic ones that friends have given me for the very few times I've played DnD, but I would like a better set for divinatory purposes for sure. I am also interested in getting some elementally colour-coded ones for geomancy perhaps. I just love the feel of tools like dice and coins in the hand. I enjoy the weight. Those coins are lovely. 😍

I spot stickers! 😁 Super cool that you use the Spread Machine Change throughout the year! I've been doing 4 cards a month (because why do "less is more" when "more is more", amirite LOL). I love the idea of that spread book with spreads for each card! It's been on my wishlist for a long time. Astral Lady Tarot did a video(s) on creating spreads from the RWS cards, where one looks at the symbols in the card and creates spread positions from those. I feel like that idea, plus the Spread Machine decks, both satisfy that "custom spread' itch. Oh, but the spread book from Tarot Diagnosis is also on my wishlist... Thanks for sharing your practice!
