I think if someone from SMACKDOWN wins the belt they'll most likely get transferred over to RAW to keep it a RAW-exclusive belt which could mean the potential of a trade and a chance for Cody Rhodes to go to SMACKDOWN and potentially continue his feud with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

I know it’s probably not happening, but I really want Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship and then move over to Raw as soon as he wins it. Edge never lost that title before he initially retired and I think it would be so cool to see him win it again. However, if WWE insists on keeping Edge on Smackdown, then I want Rollins to win the title since Rollins deserves it and Rollins winning the title will make him feel like Roman’s equal.
Why would you put it on part time in edge then they might as well leave it on roman lol.

Edge is a part timer but he could show up for every show until his retirement in Toronto where he'll lose the belt in an I quit match or something of the sort and retire, leaving a new champion.

I think Edge winning the title is best option. Now hear me out, i know most of the fans wants Seth to win and i wouldn't mind seeing him as the champion but i would say, edge has a better story. Edge never lost the title and we know he doesn't really have much time left with WWE, so he wins the title, have a great run, and then at next WrestleMania, he fight and he retains but he announces his retirement and again he abandones the title. This way, wwe can give him a great farewell and end of his awesome career.
Can we just give Balor his redemption and make him the inaugural world champion and give him the run he was supposed to get in 2016

I feel like Edge should have at least a short reign after winning the title. It's a full circle moment that still feels believable.
Seth's too over for fans to turn on him, and if everyone thinks he deserves it now, he still deserves it after the fact. I wouldn't mind if he's the one to take the title off Edge too.

Poor Rey is the only Hall of Famer that hasn't had a good main title reign. He was always booked like a weak champion the first one, and the other 2 were over before he even had a chance to do anything with it.
@@randomnintendogames I feel like Rey’s booking (especially back then) is an underdog done incorrectly, the royal rumble to him winning it was good but after he won it and even the second time he won it he was booked badly so instead of being an underdog with the odds always stacked against him when facing an opponent instead he was made to look like a weak champion

here's what's in my mind
Finn Balor wins the title against Seth Rollins, after a title reign, Edge wins it from Finn, and Edge holds and defends it until his retirement (which wouldnt be more than a year) and then the title is free game again since Edge has to relinquish it, most Likely Seth Rollins winning the vacated title
If Austin Theory is in this tournament then I only have one question to ask. WHERE THE HELL IS GUNTHER?
Gunther cannot be defeated and that's why he's not in a tournament that someone else is going to win.

Hear me out, The Smackdown finalist and Raw finalist would be AJ and Seth Rollins and they will have a feud so the loser of the NOC match would want to get traded to Raw to continue it. If AJ loses he would demand a trade and take OC with him. Here comes Cody who wants to participate in the trade to finish the story but it wouldn’t be fair as OC are 4 Members and Cody is alone, Roman Reigns then do some political stuff and demands KO and Sami to get in on the trade together with Riddle so that the Bloodline finally get the chance to end their problems.

Edge would be a perfectly fine first Champion because he deserves one last reign. He never lost the WHC when he retired so he should at least get the Title until Summerslam or hell, HELL IN A CELL.

Seth and Bobby are the two best options to hold the Championship coz Seth technically didn't loose against Roman and Bobby never faced him for undisputed championship. AJ needs a bit of momentum before entering in the title picture so does Nakamura, while Edge is one option but as HHH said they wants a fighting champion who will defend more often and will appear as a full timer. We all know edge is a part timer himself and at almost 50 WWE can't force him to appear and fight a lot to save him for special matches and keep Injuryfree. Sheamus was in a mid card scene and directly going into main event scene won't be credible for the new world heavyweight championship. Cody's story should end with dethroning Roman not getting this belt. So to make this championship as prestigious as WWE title. The two strongest contenders and those who can be suited for the title are Seth and Bobby. At night of champions their match could be absolute show stealer as both are very good in the ring. Seth just has a better chances as he is from Raw and has better mic skills to sell himself as a champion.

Triple H is smart enough to know that people were going to suspect that someone from Raw was going to win it since it’s a raw-exclusive title. Maybe because of this, he will make someone from Smackdown win and just have them transfer to raw.

Ever since Papa H introduced that title, only one name has stuck on my mind..........EDGE, anyone else would be a disservice to his legacy. He can hold it for a few months and move it on to someone else, like Orton, Rollins or Rhodes. But EDGE.
it need to be Seth in my opinion, I wish that tournament would be bigger like at least 24 people and then 8 triple threat matches after this quarterfinals, semi and final on Night of Champions, bigger tournamet would give more oportunities and you can build more stars
Edge should finish his career losing the title to someone who’d really be worth passing the title to, it’d be a strong and poetic finish for the Rated-R superstar

This championship wouldn’t feel 2nd place if cody won at mania. With roman still being champion, that makes this championship feel 2nd place.

Mannn this is an oversight I didn't take account for. Hopefully, it doesn't be too predictable win a Raw winner, but only time will tell. The GreatOne makes a good point maybe they will send them to Raw if they're with Smackdown, but I feel like that just defeats the purpose of the draft so we'll see

Can't say anything about WWE because when Rollins was in sumer slam who was gonna compete the guy who won the universal championship tournament the finals was about Roman vs balor everybody thought it was gonna be Roman because it will be rivalry kinda thing but fin balor defeated Roman and make it to the summer slam and then beat Rollins and became the first ever champion who can win title inhis debut

My personal final 4 would be Seth vs Rey and Finn vs Cody. I love when these moments are unpredictable because it shows how deserving all of these guys are of the title. Seth is everyone's favorite of winning (myself included), the more I think about it Finn is personally the most deserving. Plus it would SOO much depth to it, Finn pulls off a big upset making him a cooler heel and Judgment Day a bigger threat, he's a bad guy but he's more of an underdog than Seth is, giving him more to prove. Man I can't for a segment with these two! 🔥

Tbh honest I completely disagree with your opinion on the Miz he is in my opinion one of the top 15 wrestlers of all time and he's always been under appreciated and he definitely makes the title feel special when given the freedom to do it and now with Triple H in charge it just seems ideal
When they announced it I just heard that they were bringing it back... I didn't hear new championship. I heard the next guy would be the next world heavyweight champion. As in it will carry on the linage of the big gold. I hope that's true.

hear me out. Somehow, some way, Edge wins and becomes the world champion. Then L.A. Knight wins MITB and cashes it on Edge. Then you can have a feud on Raw. Both would kill it on the mic and the promo would be amazing. IK they're both on Smackdown, but that roster is super stacked and it would be hard for LA Knight to shine in the blue brand.

The finale will be Finn Balor vs Damien Priest, Priest will force/coerce Dominik to help him win. Finn will leave for a while and Rhea will stay but she’ll be unsure wether Damien is trust worthy. Judgement Day will be 3 people, 2 champs and Dom chasing a championship.
