      I don’t know about game changer. CATL is still leaps and bounds ahead in battery technology and is pushing well ahead of its competitors. I wish Tesla would just allow CATL to make its batteries as this would easily lead to a 450-mile range for a small car like the Model 3. 7500 federal tax credit be damned. The issue is whether CATL could produce their latest batteries at scale. The Chinese EV companies are looking to dominate and are already dominant in markets that aren’t North America or Europe.
