Disclaimer: I've been receiving messages from other Users that after updating the Firmware, their Cube Baby froze or stucked up. What I can say is, before updating, make sure that you have the CORRECT Cube Baby Update files.
I found out that some players, installed the H8 Firmware update to their Cube Baby. Please take note that the H8 is a headphone amp product of Cuvave. Its different with Cube Baby, so installing the H8's Firmware to Cube Baby will make it freeze!! So beware! Have time to read the file names carefully..
While, there were also other Users that installed the CORRECT Cube Baby Update files but still made it frozen or stucked up. In this regard, I don't have any idea on how to fix this yet because I never had any problem eversince.
I talked to other Users as well, and they say that, we just need to update the Cube Baby again, or use a high quality USB cable when updating..

good day! my cuvave start with the error prompt - waiting connect device, and the only light is the white light that blinks on the volume knob. I've tried uninstalling the firmware and reinstall but still the same issue occur. would you have any experience with this or any idea to consider to resolve the issue? thankyou

Pag normal video recording using USB, need naka On yung Loop Back..

Sir pa help po. Bakit wala tunog ang IR kopo na nilagay? Example yung kay ola englund at kay jam bumanlag na pack. Naka set sa 1 ang distance pero pag mag play ako wala po tunog? Ang IR cab. Ilang days lang po cuvave ko, need ba muna update bago gagana? Pa help po
Baka po nasa preset mode kayo.
Pedr nyo po iconnect ang guitar at headset while loading ng IR para nachecheck nyo na agad yung tunog.
Tip. Dapat nasa live mode po kayo, then, set nyo sa 12 oclock yung volume. Tsaka kayo magload ng IR.
Pede na din kayo sumabay sa backing track para nalelevel nyo na yung volume ng IR sa backing track.

Yes Sir. Pede naman yun. Raise nyo lang po yung gain knob.
But, suggest ko na gumamit na lang po kayo ng stand alone preamp/distortion pedal para mas okay yung sound nyo. Limited lang po kasi yung preamp section ng CB.
Hello sir. I watched your videos on updating the cuvave firmware and did the flashing. Kaso late ko na realize na new version na yun ang nabili ko. Ngayun di na madetect yun unit sa cube suite. At di na rin umiilaw yun abc function knob. Pero may power naman yun unit kasi volume knob nya ay umiilaw pa naman. Ask ko lang sana kung paano ibalik sa normal function yun unit. Thanks sir.
Boot up mo lang to reset.
Open Cubesuite.
Connect CB sa PC (pero naka Off)
Once connected and open na nag cubesuite, press and hold Switch C sa Cube Baby, tsaka mo i On.
Pipili ka sa firmwares A, B or C kung anung makaka pag reset sa unit mo.

Yung stock IRs Sir, hindi na na eedit yung distance setting. Yung mga 3rd party IRs lang talaga ang na eedit. Kaya mas adviseable na magpalit ng IRs para timplado yung volume. Besides, pede naman sya ifactory IR anytime sa Cube Suite..

Lower distance, meaning mas malapit yung mic sa speaker. = Mas malakas.
Higher Distance, mas malayo yung mic sa speaker = lower volume.
Pang compensate sya nung volume..bawat IR kasi, ibat iba ang response sa preamp.
May separate video ako ng in depth explanation nito Sir. But, yun nga. Ganto yung general idea ng IR Distance.

Tsaka ko inupdate to 1.11.22 firmware yung sakin. Inobserbahan ko muna sya. Okay naman. Tsaka ko ginawan ng demo. Pede ka ding mag backdate ng firmware. Ung sakin kasi, naka 6.18.21.. tas inupdate ko to 1.11.22.. tapos, binalik ko sa 6.18.21. haha. Aun, final na to 1.11.22. ayun, okay naman. Never ako nagkaproblem. Before ko gawan video, mine make sure ko munang walanh palya para di nakakahiya sa mga viewers. Hehe

Depende sya Sir sa mismong specs nung CP eh. Kaya di ko din masabi. Sa mga type C kasi usually supported yung USB audio. Isang way to try that is yung mga headset na usb type. Pag gumana yung headset na pa USB ung jack.

Yung file na yan Sir. Sa mismong computer nyo ung missing po. Ang alam ko, may nadodownload na dll file sa internet. Tapos, ipe paste nyo sa windows 32 something folder.

Hello sir after ng update walang sound na, i used your updated link para sa firmware 2021.04.27.up
Try the 1.11.22 or the 6.18.21 firmware. Masyado na kasing old siguro yung 4.27.21.
Also, yung mga cube baby ata ngayon is updated naman na sa firmware, so no need na atang iupdate pa.. after mo mag update ulit, try to load Custom IRs. Then, punta ka sa Live Mode..then raise the Volume knob. Pag nasa preset mode ka, baka walang tunog talaga kasi baka error state na yung stock presets ng old firmware...
Sir sinundan ko yung step by step kung paano mag update ng new soft ware. kaso after mag update
all lights lang sya. di na sya nag ffunction. :(

Wala ng firmwares ngayon, kasi Updated na mismo yung Cube Baby pedal. No need to update the firmware. Kaya wala na din sa website nils.than.

Wag mo iupdate yung firmware Sir. Mag fi freeze yan. Updated na kasi yan. Tas new hardware na din. Di na sya compatible dun sa mga older firmware.

Actually, nag email na ko sa customer support nila. Wala pa daw FW update sa CB pero may mga bago silang gagawin sa CB. Abangan na lang daw natin. Hehe. Di pa daw pede idisclose.
Sana ito na yung nirequest ko sa kanila date na pedeng paltan yung preamp and mods. Hehe. Sana talaga.

Have you tried using another USB Cable? Pls. Try a good quality usb cable. It might connect..

Yung Phone recording (via MicroUSB to 3.5mm TRRS Cable), mic input ang pasok nya sa CP..
Pag yung charging port kasi (Usb cable and OTG Cable), USB Audio na sya. Kaya mas malinaw ang tunog. If you check yung mga previous video ko, naka USB recording na ko don. Kaya pansin mo, mas malinaw tunog nya.. Hehe. Ang problem nga lang is yung sa loop back pag nag multi track ka.. eh yung update ngayon, na address na nila yon. So pede na talaga mag multi track recording sa android. Hehe.

Thats the wrong file. The H8 is a different product of Cuvave. Its a headphone amp..so installing its firmware to Cube Baby will make your Cube Baby freeze..
To fix it, you only need to update it again using the right file. As of January 2022, there is a latest cube baby firmware, the 1.11.2022 Firmware..

Ang gawin nyo na lang po is magLoad kayo ng 3rd party IRs sa Cube Baby nyo. Mas importante po yun kesa firmware update.

Yung headphone nyo po, icoconnect nyo sa Headphones In ng Cube Baby.
Then yung Cube Baby to Computer naman, via USB port. Yung Charging Port ni Cube Baby yung icoconnect nyo sa Android or Computer for recording.

Wala na kasing firmware update ngayon. Kasi, meron nang updated model ng Cube Baby (yung Pedal mismo at hindi firmware).
Ang catch, hindi na compatible yung mga Firmware for the Old Cube Baby Model papunta sa New Model. Pag inupdate mo yung New Model, gamit ang firmware na para sa Old Model. Mag pi freeze sya

Di ko masabi if mali or not. If ayun yung nagwowork for them, thats fine. Pero para sakin, masyado ng malakas yun at hindi mo magagamit talaga yung volume knob ng cube baby. Kasi kahit konting pihit lang, basag agad tunog.. sa strat siguro mag work din yung 1%. Sa acoustic IR kasi, gumagamit ako ng 1%. Depende talaga sya sa setup.

Sorry for the late reply. I think your problem is with the Hardware of your Cube Baby. You need to update using a compatible Firmware for your hardware. I have an updated video for this. It might be the fix for your problem. Thanks!
