Calafiori, Mikel Merino & Nico Williams would cover a nice balance of defence, midfield and forward line. And financially doable.

A “big name” doesn’t necessarily mean elite or guarantee success. In addition to this, spending “too big” now in a tight market could hinder us should we find a better market opportunity to exploit in January. Transfers are complicated, requiring some foresight & planning.
