I think the new mirrors look better what you had.
I have tried several custom mirrors and always end up putting the OEM mirrors back on they just work better!
These are the same size as OEM. I just wanted the black mirrors. Ride Safe
Perfect timing, I just put the same mirrors on my street glide. Even with stock bars, I could barely see behind me with the fairing mounted mirrors.

Gotta be able to see!! Hand gaurds may not look the best but they really doo block allot of cold air in fal and winter riding to me they are a must have!!

Great tip to carry a wrench with you! I'd be the one loc-titing them so I don't have to carry a wrench, but then I'd get loc-tite everywhere, and I'd have a mess instead. A tight mess, but a mess nonetheless.

I had the BoDean52 mirrors on "Black Beatty", but the stock Harley mirrors on the Heritage are great. ... Bob

I have the skinny mirrors and hand guards on my Heritage and they took a little time to get used to the mirrors.

@@RedTickJJ Once you ride a Road Glide you will never want another batwing. Actually I put ape hangers on my bike so my hands are over the fairing. Ride Safe
I had a 2001 ultra that had fairing mounted mirrors and installed bar mounted mirrors. Had the bike until 2018 with both sets of mirrors on it. When I got my 2018 ultra, I installed the fairing mirrors. Just got used to having both sets of mirrors. Now with my 2022 ultra-apex it seems odd not having both sets. I'll be living off the bike for 3 weeks starting next Wednesday so I'll see when I get home weather, I feel the need for the fairing set also.

Looks like those new mirrors are not convex. Flat mirrors will greatly reduce what you can see behind you. Let us know how you like them after you’ve ridden with them a while. I got a set of HD long arm mirrors for mine. Same as factory, but have about an inch and a half longer arm. Had them on the old bike and really liked them.

Those small mirrors are not very good for functionality. I love my hand guards.
