This version of the Frixion pen is new to me. Working at a university where I find lots of pens I wonder if I'll eventually be finding one this kind of pen! Maybe not as it's fancier than most but I've found Parker pens and even a Mont Blanc so we'll see what happens.---I'm a big fan of those Pilot gel pens.---You can't go wrong with the simple, old reliable Bic Cristal pens. I go back far enough that I can remember when just cartridges for the Cristal pens could be purchased so that an inexpensive pen that had been purchased for maybe 39 center could be used for many years.

I've read, and maybe others can verify or elaborate on this, that learning cursive uses both parts of the brain and helps in the learning process. I feel sad for young people who can't read or write cursive. Too isn't it a pleasure to just look at nice handwriting, especially the writing of the 18th and 19th centuries? Handwriting can be a work of art. I've read that in some cultures writing is considered to be a form of magic and there certainly is something special about it.
Thanks for video, I was looking for a higher quality erasable pen, this seems to be what I was looking for.....I found a used one listed in very good condition in Amazon warehouse for $20US , in gold color, wanted black, but save $14, so I will purchase anyway
@@humanfirst11 True. I would hope anyone switching out the refill with a compatible gel cartridge will take that into account. Personally, I did not buy the LX, aka Ball Knock Biz, for its ink but for its metal body. I am not a fan of any of the Frixion retractable plastic-bodied pens. I am a fan of their capped Point 04 Japanese version, which is sadly no longer available. Pilot does offer a U.S. version of their Frixion capped pen; however, it has a wider grip section and a patterned barrel design, two features I don't like. When I saw the metal, more premium barrel, I purchased a couple, the Light Green and Blue.
Never tried the Frixion, and I use Pentel Permanent EnerGel pens at work for their ability to write on anything and withstand almost anything. I do love the Retro 51 rollerballs, and I'd better since I own seventeen of them, lol. There is a video by Goldspot Pens on cleaning the Retro 51 empties and filling with fountain pen ink. I'd love to try it but I'll probably never run one dry since I keep buying more. Looking forward to that next video.
Does the Pilot Frixion LX/Biz2/Ball Knock accept the newer (and apparently premium) V2/version 2 of the refills?

The point is that you have the ability to have any color of ink that you want, not just black or blue.
If you put the paper in freezer the ink will reappear.
