Just recently got back from our Alaska cruise on the Eclipse. Had a wonderful time. The staff was amazing. The food in the Blu dining room was superb. Met lots of interesting people. Would definitely book another cruise on the Eclipse without hesitation.
Going at the end of the month. Can. Not. Wait.
I'm going here from October 22nd to October 28th and I can't wait! Is anyone else going at that time?

I was on this ship a month ago for an 8-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera, and it was wonderful.
The things I would change:
I would make the library really feel luxurious and not an after thought. Very few books to check out or borrow, and having empty shelves all throughout when it would be easy to just stage some books or art pieces to fill in the visual aspect. However, most people don't need a library as they have audiobooks or ebooks.
Also, Celebrity is appealing to customers who can afford more upscale shopping, but it would've been nice to have more offerings -- I didn't realize until the end of the trip that I could buy snacks on the ship because they were hidden with the alcohol, and I don't drink a lot of alcohol.
The show "Topper" was a waste of time. I have season tickets to touring Broadway shows (plus have been in theatre productions since I was a teen), so I'm used to a certain level of entertainment...and Topper was not even in the running.
The television offerings were not adequate. When I'd retire to my room, I was hoping to unwind by watching a show -- and the best program was the one showing where our ship was on the map.
What did I love about this cruise? The food was amazing, even in the buffet, and the staff is fantastic. I traveled with my 84yo father and his 86yo friend, and the staff catered to whatever they needed -- including my dad's daily double cheeseburger at the Mast Grill. On our last morning, we got hugs from the staff we had connected with, I loved the elevators-- each time was a new experience of looking at the lights and the middle section with the huge plant in the hanging orb. I even had fun collecting the charms for my necklace.
Overall, I can't wait to go back on this one, or another Celebrity ship.

A whole heap of fun, good food, cocktails, great service. Haven't been on this ship but have spent 19 nights on Solstice its sister ship. You will love it.

This is the ship you designed when you designed Celebrity ships. Please make your post-Edge class ships more like this. I'm rather sad that Michael's Pub is no longer a piano bar for all passengers but now is suite only. Please watch taking away public areas from non-suite passengers, the majority of those on the ship.
But where is the Adult Bookstore at 😅
Old ship. Smells like smoke. Small bar areas. Save your money. Go elsewhere

If you think this is an old ship then you have a warped perspective on what old is. This ship is barely middle aged. Ships should last 40 plus years.
