Beautiful. Nice job. Love watching your channel. We just started doing a little powder coating. We have the same gun set up and you are so helpful. Thank you again Bulldog Metalworks
Came out like glass! It would be cool to see the the weight of a 5 lbs bag after using the app and seeing how accurate it is. I’m sure it’s spot on tho these machines are high tech and costly for a reason
where did you get that spray booth from? I've tried to watch most of your videos but its hard finding the time to search through 2 year old+ posts to find a potential "i built or i bought my spray booth" What kind of investment did you have to make into powders initially for common colors and whatnot?
What gun would you recommend for someone looking to start a side business of powder coating? I see you use the gems but do you think that there are other guns that can provide the same or similar quality? Thanks ahead
may be stupid question...but how did the Gema come up with a $5 cost if you used 1.7lbs of powder (at an average cost of $20 per lb...wouldn't that be approximately $34 in powder used?
@@RightNowPowderCoating Thank you Dan...obviously I'm just learning. I watch all your videos and am a big fan of Right Now Powder Coating. Your videos are full of "how to" and I appreciate all the information...thank you again!
I call bullshit on this video, wheels looked liked they have been coated before you re-coated them. Never in 15yrs in this game have i seen wheels, steel or alloy look this colour before coating. .
Not sure your screen settings are working on your computer, but.....these were raw aluminum. We dont cut those corners here good sir. Stop the video at the 4min mark and its easy to see. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, helps the old UA-cam algorithm.
@@RightNowPowderCoating thanks for the reply, could be my screen. Keep up the good work, hope your company grows strong through these shit times we all going through.
Thanks for watching, please check out our links, after you follow and thumbs up this video obviously.
I want to start my own powder coating I’m seeking some advice on equipment. How do i get in contact you directly? Thank you

Great intro
I know this video is 2 years old but where do you recommend purchasing a GEMA?
I dont, buy an Electron! Www.powderfinishingequipment.com. is my site. But if you really want a gema, you have to buy from a local distributor
Do you just do one coat of everything?
Sounds right, i always order 2lbs for a set of wheels and i always have extra leftover. And thats with my POS-1000 lol

Hit up Eastwood?
You are using dish soap when you should be using a certain phosphate as per substrate
Since you been doing this for so long what seems to be a good shelf life time an environment for storing powder?
The correct answer is go by the manufacturers recommendations, but I have sprayed powder over 2 years old and had no issues.
May i ask what you paid for that powdercoating machine?
Why did you only powder coat the face ?
Do you prime before you color? I’m bran new the powder coating.
some parts yes, some no
I’ve the same ir gun, do you change the EMS value at all for jobs or leave it at 95?
we are all over the place it seems, from 93-97
Another informative vid (7:45 - need a better mask, tho) 😉
Man, I was having an anxiety attack with you doing white with your booth that filthy...

I get this powder for under 4 per pound, you can go into settings and change the price per pound. When you buy big boxs you save big money per lb
