I feel like sense they didn't really even use Christian Bale in the movie they might as well have just made him look more alien and not used Christian bale and have some voice actor to play gore.
As an mcu collector, I think for character interpretations. Comic version is the definitive version of Gorr more so than the movie version. Yeah I do wish Gorr had more screen time in the movie, his acting is great. But out of all of the Thor villains, Hela is the best villain in the thor movies. I like your insights on this figure.
I snagged on cyber monday for $25 Cdn which is like $17 usd. I really like this figure...the pins don't bother me but ya would have been nice if it matched the box but you said it, at least the pins are the same colour as the skin.
Those old Thor figures are grossly oversized IMO. If they redo Thor in his outfit from that storyline then I may reconsider searching for 616 Gorr, but as of now I'm okay passing on him. A 3 pack of the Thors would actually make a great set!
i don't get why they were worried about voldemort comparisons when ebony maw looks just like him, only tony compared him to squidward for some reason, who is known for his big nose
This is where the mcu is lacking. Either through laziness, missing the comic styles, or actors having to do with visual effects visual vision. The movie wasn't terrible. But when a special effect loses to lack of effort I generally hate it. Because I hate stage play characteristics. Do it right dizzyland!!!!!! The figure is good 👍
The Comic book version of Gorr the God Butcher is so nice and stunning
Love that sentry, Loki, Malekith and gorr all share the same body, makes it much more dynamic

I hate how they ruined gorr in Thor love and thunder he could’ve been really cool and a villain as good as Thanos but they ruined him

I like the figure overall but still, it’s disappointing. Should’ve been taller, maybe even a new buck. Definitely should’ve had butterfly joints

I think they just did the leg like that so it would stand cuz half the time those back hinge legs fall over but I love this fig
