It was a miss for me, you addressed most of the problems with it. Really come down to the value. The nfs games are on sale all the time and you buy them all for the price of this one playlist.
Exactly!! With all these NFS games being on sale you could have a true Racer/Cop experience, especially with Hot Pursuit being free on PlayStation this month
Heya block, how about pvp but being cops chasing you as a getaway car driver or you have to get to a certain point on the map before the other players stop you getting to your destination, could be fun,at least we're using these vehicles for what they were made for, chasing. Just a thought 🤔👍
@@Assassinbro69 That would be awesome!! I’ve also mentioned something similar which I think would work well, the next video where I compare this to Hot Pursuit is what I kind of wish they would’ve done!! @@Chris2007_x It was something that was different for sure but I agree the high price tag hurt it a lot, I also think it should have come with more events in it too!! The main events were pretty lack luster to be honest
Honestly, there are so many issues with The Crew Motorfest and this is gonna be long but: They really messed this series up game after game. While some of the additional cars are nice most of the customization just seems copy and pasted as well as usually being lackluster or even nonexistent in some cases. The first game in the series at least had a story to it while 2 moved away from a main story and instead had miniature stories within certain series of races or the eventual hobbies/stories where you followed a story with clues for the reward. Motorfest pretty much does the same with having multiple stories through the playlists but nothing with substance and they only add new playlists maybe once every 2-3 months...most players were finished with the initial playlists within a week of release and most playlists only take about an hour or 2 to complete. The map shrinking as much as it did from 48 states in TC1 and TC2 down to just an island in Motorfest also hurt because if you really look at the map most of it is just filler empty fields with brief identical cities/neighborhoods. Cars have taken so many hits over the series and have been getting slower game by game...The Crew you purchased a stock version of a car and from there you could choose to build a spec of whatever ones were available for that car such as street, dirt (rally cross), raid (rally raid), performance (not available beyond TC1), circuit (touring car), drift, drag, and monster trucks (as far as I remember there weren't any others) Now outside of drag spec cars the fastest spec was performance and they usually maxed out around 250mph. In TC2 the street spec cars usually maxed out around 230mph, though with nitro some cars were able to reach 250-270mph. In Motorfest they made the absolute worst choice in splitting street into 2 tiers but to make matters worse they aren't even consistent about what qualifies a car to be tier 1 or tier 2...The tier 1 cars max out around 180-200mph while tier 2 is usually about 220-240mph. Half the fun of TC2 freedrive was being in a VW Kombi Bus or a Ford Crown Victoria and outrunning some overly confident kid/kid-minded person that pulled up in a Lamborghini or Ferrari thinking they could take on the world. Chase Squad is a fun and interesting addition but the furry aesthetic was definitely one of the worst ways to go and while you can use the TC2 interception vehicles in the playlist events after beating them initially it only applies to tier 2 and hypercar spec vehicles making any interception vehicles that are stuck in tier 1 unusable and useless. Also, back to a previously mentioned issue of lack of customization, in the chase/race events if you beat the crew leaders in race you get their cars, but you can't do anything at all to them aside from adding vanity items...and one of them is a Pontiac GTO that finally gives us a tier 2 GTO but again you can't change anything on it and they didn't even add a stock tier 2 version to go along with the tier 1...which I get is kinda stupid having the same car with the same parts in 2 categories but this entire tier system is stupid!
it was no good idea...for myself i thought wtf.. whats wrong with ubisoft to make high priced playlists content as update. instead of bringing this crab they should work on a better destruction derby content. it is so much potential in this event genre to make it more fun to play for players. but most angry makes me that every time i got the message of a new playlist and the repeated radio message because i didnt buy the chase playlist and so i couldn't finished
