Wouldn't have changed the outcome but at 12:26 you sold off service depot when you could have used it to sell off harversters to get credits to make a refinery.
@@ApemanMonkey Yes (and I was just about to comment the same thing as Feyknir) you instruct the Harvester to go onto the Service Depot and then you can sell the Harvester using the regular sell function. At least it worked in the original RA, I've not tried it in the remaster.
@@Iris_and_or_George Its rarely useful except in that circumstance or if you want to sell of a minelayer you got in a crate. I think you get half the full value of the vehicle.
Put the unit to sell on the repair pad. Select sell function like you would normally to sell a building. Hover mouse over the unit and the sell icon (dollar symbol) changes from gold to green. Click to sell. Be careful to ensure the icon has changed to green or you'll accidentally sell the repair pad. It's really annoying to do though. I find the icon often refuses to turn green. I end up moving the unit on and off the pad over and over a few times until it finally turns green. Not worth bothering with unless you're desperate.
Good game. You play this map quite often. Have you considered to build a spare tech centre somewhere else on the map, as it is so important to keep map vision, especially on this map?
You can select in the setup of the game something like modern rules. Which basically mean that naval yards / sub pens count as a structure or not. Which makes the difference if you need to destroy them or not.
good to see you post losses as well, agree with what you said, an early transport to the top island with an MCV for the bonus gems, possibly would have left the attack on the pink destroyers early and kept the cruisers building too. Snipe the naval yards forcing the destroyers to push you instead.
Wow the rare loss posting. Great game but your team mate couldnt hold the south path sadly. Still, you can only play the game in front of you and the other team did a great job of defending
May be some base defenses would have helped against those Tanyas. Always so easy to give an opinion about something AFTER the fight :-D It was an interesting fight ! I hadn't noticed your base destruction until very late in the game !! :-/ Had you ? Are there any notification when a building is lost ? It is quite complicated to handle the fights with destroyers, tanks and still check that the base is safe !! If, as a watcher, we poorly do, as a player it is far more difficult ! Thanks for sharing.
Trust me you see MUCH more as an observer than a player. You're concentrating so much on the task at hand you miss lots of things, it's called `Selective Attention`. You have to train yourself to stop focussing on one particular task (e.g. a Tank battle) for just a moment and check the Radar for enemy attacks, then go back to the battle. The moment you forget your checks is when the enemy gets in and you're done for. It's so frustrating when you watch the game back and it's obvious what the enemy is doing but you missed in whilst in the game!
I was in a big battle while my base was been destroyed so had no clue about my base until later on. As Craig says you see a lot more as an observer than a player. i notice loads more things when I watch the replays after playing the game.
Zack building his Tech Center and Radar Domes in his forward bases never fails to amuse me.
You’re right but they would have gone anyway as he wasn’t watching the og base. He gets in a good spot and forgets what got him there.
I was lucky I put them forward with my army as my main base was attacked so they would have been destroyed earlier.

Wait... You can use a service depot to sell units? How?!

🤯🤯🤯🤯 Never heard of that!

Bro you put your tech center on the island right next to the water lol
A couple of basic pill boxes take care of Tanya's. Building cruisers instead of destroyers might have helped. Great video, thanks

Sometimes it is a consideration. I guess it depends how intense the battle is sometimes need resources for units and other structures.

I am not sure actually I know the QM rules were changes so that naval yards and sub pens did not count.
You should've sold a few ore trucks. You know that's possible..?
Units on service depot can be sold. :)
On this map, I believe tactics such like MiG, Tanya, teleport, are more likely to be used.
Yeah you get a lot more different tactics used on hybrid maps
Zack you should spam a few rangers to keep in your base cause them tanyas are lethal on this map
Yeah or pillboxes.
Is it possible to select every unit of same type with a hotkey? Looks like it at 6:30 when you select the boats
Double click and it will select every unit of that type on the screen.
@ Thank you 😃

Saved me 17 minutes, thanks
Could have used the service depot to sell tanks and harvesters for money!!
You could have used your service depot to sell few ore trucks to get the ore for ore refinery?
Apparently that is possible. I did not know about it.
What's the idea behind the ore truck Micro management? Probably something to do with ore regrowth but what?
Usually it is used to make sure the ore trucks collect the gems which are more valuable.

At 6:30 you had funds and 7 destroyers. I wonder why the cruisers got cancelled 🤔
Isn't it possible to sell an ore trunk at the repair bay to get money to build a refinery?
Yes you can but i did not know about it.
i like your akzent :) very british right ? did you join the german community ?
