    I own the same blower. I recommend using the 2 1/2 amp hour battery. It makes a huge difference with the weight. It came with a 5 amp hour battery which is heavy AF. Agreed on the turbo mode, that’s all I use too.

    Depends on where you live. If you live in the northern part of the country where it gets cooler in the season seed will germinate faster. I have a friend that lives in the north on the state of Washington and he has all rye grass, and his lawn is so green and gets no fungus. He can mow all year round. Where I live outside of St Louis, Mo where last week was 100 degrees. Grass seed needs to germinate when temps are below 80 degrees. Yes, some might grow but half of the seed will not germinate matter how much you water.

    Your yard is 🔥 bro. Amazing. Agree to disagree on the Ego. I’ve had great luck with it and it’s plenty powerful when you use turbo. No cords. Yeah a gas backpack would crush it. But I’m a homeowner on .5 acres, not a pro. Great stuff man!

    Your lawn is looking crazy good! I appreciate your videos in helping guide me to transform my yard. Between you and yard brah, I'm strong my game up this year. One thing I am really struggling with is worm castings. I know people are going to say they are good for your lawn, but i literally have thousands all over my yard and they have caused it to be so bumpy. I have a sandy clay yard so the castings won't break down. Any suggestions to at least limit the amount of worms i have in the yard?

    The Ego blower is still lighter than my gas powered Stihl. The nice thing about the Ego tools is all the batteries work with it, so just take a lighter battery from one of your other tools and charge up a couple of them. I run mine on constant full and only use the turbo button, and I only have the 650. No way I could get away with dragging a cord around my entire yard.

    • @lawnlifevlogs
      @lawnlifevlogs  2 місяці тому +1

    Beautiful lawn! I’m also from Minnesota and I’m looking to do a lawn Reno on my yard. I know I want to use blackout seed but I’m curious how the perennial ryegrass holds up to our brutal winters? I have 15000 square feet of turf so I’m looking for something that will hold up during our long winter months and foot traffic.

      I honestly would do our KBG/prg blend. I havent noticed much die off in our winters, but having kbg mixed with the prg is a game changer. The self repairing is a necessity in my opinion. And the blend is still crazy dark.
