    Freelancing for larger clients on long contracts is a good option. More cash, more freedom, keep your independence and have a steady few months long contracts.
    For true scale however the only way is to build a business

    love the thing at 4:59 (obviously 😉)
    Would love to hear from anyone who's done this! We're tracking a lot of Productized Coding services, but would love to add more agencies to the list.

      Depends what you’re familiar with. If you like TypeScript, I’ve been learning Remix and I am starting to build a SaaS app with it. I am really enjoying it. A good combo would be Remix, something to help with the DB (eg Drizzle or Kysely), Zod + Conform for type-safe client-server communication, and then pick your deployment platform (Remix plugs into express so anywhere you can ship an express API you can probably ship Remix fairly easily). If you like PHP, Laravel looks great; Python, either Django or Flask; Rails for Ruby; etc etc. All the major languages have fairly robust web frameworks these days. Choose your elixir (or poison lol).

    Can the productized service business model work for software development agencies themselves? Im thinking this would only work if the deliverables are set *very* clearly for each work item / development sprint.

      One of the easiest programming languages to pick up is Python. However, if you think JUST knowing to code will give you easy access to income, that's wrong. You'll need a job and therefore most likely a full IT/data science education or actually build a program yourself, which takes time.

      ask chat gpt to explain coding with analogies you understand - using music production to your advantage. Also chat bots are exceptionally helpful because when you don't understand something or want to clarify you understanding you can always ask follow-up questions. But in general best start is to pick a language and try to build real thing - like calculator.

      @@vmachacek yes I do this often using my favourite anime as a reference to understand... I want to create software and sell them like yesterday only I was in talk with a SME business owner he was using an accounting software... In which he mentioned many flaws and its advantages also
      So I was thinking to combine software which is very good looking with very great you I experience and is very smooth I see that most of the people use windows 7 still in there computer on the stores.... So I was thinking about creating a accounting software which is powered by AI.... What do you think about it? And what are the possible challenges I may face

      @aashishjhaa Місяць тому +1

      @@Daniel-vu7piis I think I should go with python because in the upcoming World everything is just AI and AI is powered by python.... I am not too much interested in doing job as I am a entrepreneur mind set guy from the very beginning... But to collect some money I will surely do if needed but my mean focus is to build a Saas Business

    I wonder what the best way is to get paid when developing an open-source project. There are ways like dual-licensing, sponsorship, or a paid service, but it is unclear what works well when looking from the outside.

      And because it is so much attractive people in my country really love government jobs and guess what what happens with those people who go and do the preparation 99% of people fail because there are limited seats and they waste their 5 to 6 years in just preparation
