First time Honda launched a competitive product in India, hope it will rejuvenate Honda in India. Honda needs more mass quantity products to rule the market, here price is also competitive otherwise all good work will go in vain.
Taigun has capability to deactivate 2 cylinders out of 4 if driven at a constant relax speed. expect a fuel economy of 14 to 16 KMPL at highways and if driven below 100 kmph. in city conditions 10 to 12 kmpl.
if you throttle German cars just a little hard out of excitement (which you will considering the fact you bought them for performance ) the mileage goes out the drain. expect 7-8 kmpl. to get 12-14 in city you need some serious driving skill and discipline to not push the throttle that much. but then again you would've bought the maruti if you're concerned about mileage
Official rated vs real world is always different. Thanks to CVT and the tall gearing while cruising, highway numbers are good. However, inside town with four on board and AC, the displayed economy was pretty less (this was expected)
It all depends on different driving conditions and styles. I owns a Jazz diesel which has a claimed efficiency of 27kmpl, but at times managed to achieve 30-31 on the display, and still it averages me to 22-23 kmpl on regular use.

Elevate is overpriced by at least 2 lakhs. Many of the bookings will be cancelled now! 16.5 Lakhs on road for V CVT which is base model with bare minimum features. 18.5 Lakhs on road for VX CVT, 20 Lakhs on-road for Elevate ZX CVT seems to be too much! Ideally, It should have undercut the City by at least 1 lakh or more. City has more features in SV and V variant. Honda is messed up with Elevate Variants too. There is no SV CVT. SV is actually a base model and they should have named it S. V should have been named as SV. Its the first car from Honda where V variant does not have alloys. I have owned CITY V IVTEC 2014 model and it had company fitted alloys and decent features. Elevate V CVT at 16.5 lakhs on road will have wheel-caps :) I am not able to digest this! We are disappointed! Honda seems to forget that they are offering 1.5 NA engine while others are offering Turbo Engines at this price point. Honda should have priced it much lesser than other cars in market. Creta and Seltos are much bigger car inside and have many engine options on offer. Suddenly Kia Carens and Toyota Urban Cruiser appears to be value for money car! Elevate may sell for initial 1-2 months but then the dust will settle down. Very soon Sales no. will dip for Honda and they will start offering discounts on Elevate.
Bookmark my comment. Elevate sv and Zx will be the top selling variants. ZX CVT beats every car in the segment in terms of pricing and value. Honda reliability is a big factor. The excitement for new features die out in 2-3 months and then you face the harsh reality of after sales support, vehicle reliability.
Panaromic sunroof is a fad of temperate countries where sunshine is a bliss. In Country like India which is mostly tropical, panaromic sunroof or even electric for that matter is definitely a useless feature.. why Indians bother about useless quantity rather than quality??
India ki garmi me marna hai kya? Car bhatti bann jaati hai aur head room bhi kam ho jata hai. Small sunroof or no sunroof is better. Panaromic sunroof is just for showoff and more trouble than worth.

Useless argument.
@@truthonly7196 grow up, drive a bit, you'll know tank range is a useful thing. Especially on 220mm GC crossovers when you go and explore a bit on different terrains.
@@SuyashKaul Already grown up and learned a lot about this country and knows very well about the availibity of fuel stations across the country, even in remote places.
So definitly your argument is useless as per my knowledge.
If you thinks there are no fuel stations in 300 kms range aywhere in this country then name it and prove your point|. or just avoid replying me, it's not necessary to win every argument.
Me too booked a cvt.
That what my skoda gives 17kmpl
With 5 peoples ridden and luggage on elevated surface with speed range of 90-130 kph
If this one came before i might had bought this one. Only 2 option for me skoda kushaq or elevate 😂
so much rant about panaromic sunroof or sunroofs in general. India as a country is so hot and dusty 99% of time the sunroof is useless. As the vehicle ages the seals around the sunroof start to leak it becomes a pain to maintain. Just google any luxury car forums the sunroof is highly problematic as it ages even in dry and cool European climates.
Gaadi main chahe raddi steel use kiya ho chalega but han sunroof jaroor chahiye. I shudder to think in a rollover what protection will the sunroof offer.
Indian oil is one worst mileage will give. Better to try bharat or HP
This is similar mileage as Honda city CVT.
TPM is very important now a days.
Available as official accessory connected with Honda Connect app. These are good addons for someone who wants them and a option to choose is a welcome step instead of adding by default and jacking up price with different small things
Honda really needs to work on its cabin insulation ,its pathetic
Man too much noise inside cabin
not too much, only a little
haa youtube ki video se hi pata laga liya bhai ne. kaise kaise lodu bhare pade hai internet pe.
Elevate is overpriced by at least 2 lakhs. Many of the bookings will be cancelled now!
16.5 Lakhs on road for V CVT which is base model with bare minimum features.
18.5 Lakhs on road for VX CVT,
20 Lakhs on-road for Elevate ZX CVT seems to be too much!
The excitement for new features die out in 2-3 months and then you face the harsh reality of after sales support, vehicle reliability.
sir 18lakhs on road is zx cvt. I have checked it myself.
Yup, elevate sales in 5th place behind creta, seltos, hyryder and vitara 😂. Seems people prefer turbo/hybrid and features over Hondas reliability 😊
too late for honda, ye car 5 saal pehle ki competition me hai
It will give 13 km hardly... My jazz give me same average🎉with such driving
U need to learn how to drive then.
13 is not good number.
Or u should service ur car.
It's too late Honda ...
Ehe gadi ohna lai jo dhakka ni karde gadi na
Outdated
Dcnt car
Honda us lazy to work on designs. Looks 10 year old car.
Wow creta se better h ye to yr
only for Naturally aspirated engine. But once Creta gets 1.5 turbo petrol engine it will be a different level of fun altogether.
FK HONDA.... MILAGE IS LOW
40ltrs tank capacity worse then a hatchback.
Kuchvi bolo vai.. Panaromic roof nahi to kuchvi nahi
Usme fir heating issues bhi hote hai ... Especially in Delhi ncr..
Panaromic sunroof is a fad of temperate countries where sunshine is a bliss. In Country like India which is mostly tropical, panaromic sunroof or even electric for that matter is definitely a useless feature.. why Indians bother about useless quantity rather than quality??
Bhai sunroof to hai par tumne sare passengers ki gaand bahar nikalni hai to sorry ye gaadi aapke liye nahi hai 😂😂
एक बार ग्रैंड वितारा ऑनर से पूछ लेना पैनोरमिक सनरूफ कितना हेल्प करता है 🤪
India ki garmi me marna hai kya?
Car bhatti bann jaati hai aur head room bhi kam ho jata hai.
Small sunroof or no sunroof is better.
Panaromic sunroof is just for showoff and more trouble than worth.
