I just watched your other video. Did you just treat them once at this point? I am waiting for the sulfur that is in the mail. I cannot wait to use it!

I treated all of my Hoyas with sulphur last night. It is quite time consuming! I do have one of those magnifiers and was not surprised to have found the flat mites on some of them because I also had lack of growth and knobby points.

I definitely water more in the winter, or at least just as much. Depending on the plant...

💚💚 I find plants are easy to fall over on those racks. Especially 4 in or smaller, have the same ones an plants fall all the time. Ughh

Oh yeah they definitely do. That one was in an 8in pot, I just somehow yanked the vine smh...lol. But the smaller pots can be the worst. Everything needs a saucer.

I definitely agree about winter, I live in MN and I am a dang freeze baby so my thermostat is set to 74 most days 🥵🤣 my plants dry out faster or the same as the rest of the year 😊 also doing sulfur treatments on all my plants… I have Hoya everywhere so I feel like the mites are probably on everything so better safe than sorry I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Totally agree about wagering in the winter. The heat just literally zaps the moisture and it caught me so off guard last year I had an outbreak of root rot unintentionally because I didn't realize how much quicker things needed to be watered. I imagine it may depend on people's conditions. Maybe if you have a cooler house and don't use grow lights and use more ceramic than Terra cotta-I could see it being the case. But I'm a chunky soil chick due to overwatering too. I finally graduated to not HAVING to use terracotta and using alot of clear pots because I got a hold of the watering based on my soil and conditions.

Yes to all this 🙌 and congrats on being able to use plastic, that’s a huge accomplishment. I’m slowly getting to that level with ceramic. It’s sooo hard 😅

Did you spray your linearis with sulfur? I’m wondering whether it needs to or not since the stems and leaves are different than most Hoya.

I feel like the plants that arent doing too well, would do better in no drainage pon. its saved so any of my plants with various issues. you should check out my fave youtubers Unplantparenthood and Youdontevengrowhere. they gave me the idea to make the no drainage plunge and my plants are thriving (after lots of research)

Love Unplantparenthood, I haven't heard of the other one but I'll look into them. And I'm so on the fence about pon but maybe I'll just give it a try. At least for a few, thanks for the tip!
