In fact, you have now visited most of the places you can go. The tricky part is, as always, remembering how to get back there.
I honestly think the world opening up is more of a curse than a blessing, though if it bypasses some of the non-euclidean geometry -- i'm here for it

What kills me is that you do know purple, you just keep doubting yourself after you've already defined some of the rules. Height of blocks has a universal rule across colors too.
Purple is “change a part” probably: so middle purple is change some letters (patS-> patH) up is change some sound (Maim -> Same[Saim]) and down is change some parts (Human -> Cyborg, Fork -> Spoon).
In general, for what I got, top are about sound, middle about the written word and down the object the word refers to.
A helpful twist is that a high purple sharing the same sound isn't going to be also spelled the same, because that could have been a middle purple. That eliminates a lot of the possible rhymes (like running through all the -ight words), even though there are often a handful left still to guess.
@@Ceruleanst Unfortunately this doesn't always work because there are times when a top purple is also a middle purple and just isn't clued that way also.

This is not spoilers, as every one I talk about you have already solved, but rather showing a concept you may not know about.
Have you heard of phonemes?
It's quite interesting, it consists of writing the sounds of the word, not using letters, basically the sound bits as symbols.
For example, remember when you saw cat as a top black, which you say is homophone reverse?
I'm just going to show it to you as phonemes, as well as the answer you found, tack.
Cat: k æ t
Tack: t æ k
I'll let you draw the conclusions.
Also, top white berry.
Berry: ˈ b ɛ r i
Bury: ˈ b ɛ r i

Now, I'll show you the phonemes of just the word given, not the answer, for some you had difficulty solving not. This is more for curiosity than for use, as I cannot read phonemes, and I think you also may not, although it gives you the number of phonemes, at least.
- Top Black: Tube is ʧ u ː b
- Top Yellow: Gel is ʤ ɛ l
- Top Yellow: Though is ð ə ʊ

27:19 The holes in the ceiling are indeed because of a 2nd floor. Don't worry about that for now; I'm pretty sure you can't get there yet. But there is more to the puzzle... hidden in places you've been to outside.
Unrelated, go back to the island paintings room - you only cleared the first stage of it. Also go back to the hedge maze turret - there's a bottom floor to it.
there's so many puzzles in this game that even though I've gone through room room I forgot the answer to broomed lol

I'm not sure how I stumbled across this channel a few months ago, but man I've been having a blast! This series is my current favorite.
The Witness was my favorite puzzle game to watch, but you've given it a strong challenger. I saw on another video that you really liked The Witness, but I wasn't able to find a let's play of it from you.
Yup, I played it offline years ago. Great game. Unfortunately wouldn’t be as enjoyable to go back and make a series of having known it. Definitely check out my Animal Well series if you enjoyed this, it gave me VERY similar vibes. The content is similar, you’ll like it

Sharing a thought about purple, so read at your own risk (I don't know for certain, but this is my guess/feeling):
I feel like the rule for purple is generally 'rhyming, but the end cannot be written the same way'. So like, if the given word is 'RIGHT', the answer must end with the sound 'IGHT', but it cannot be spelt 'IGHT'. So it could be like, 'SMITE'.
Like, 'DAYS' -> 'MAZE' as another example. It's the same sound at the end, but the letters used to produce that sound are different.
This series is so much fun, and rewarding kind of frustrating xD

I've been playing in parallel, and it wasn't until I watched Tyler go through The Strand Room that I realized with a shock: White numbers and blue numbers are adding letters at the same positions per number! Granted, in the A series, the fourth letter is D, and in the I series, it's a G. Even so, wicked layers to the design here.
Also gained a better appreciation of Orange Tower when Tyler climbed it. (Each elevator is unlocked from the side passages, except for Owl/HedgeMaze.)

Finally getting to the harder stuff huh?
I want to share a bit of what I think the colors we've seen so far, I'll say it below:
To what I feel like it's happening, purple is not a full rhyme, what's happening is that all top colors refer to the rule of what they are, but the game searches for the "closest" sounding word, it's a phoneme of the word you may think it is
On that note, I'm still in the belief that Purple is indeed some sort of combo of red and blue, it replaces a fragment of the word, like a syllable or something
Grey has been presented a few times, at first I didn't get what did it even mean in the slightest, but I have a theory after finding it way later in the game:
The grey may be meta words, we've seen the grey refer to sizes and things around the house
Purple area had a blue and red checkerboard patterned on the ceiling, so I would have to agree about the blue + red theory
Gray and green differ slightly, as gray is referring to the block specifically
Feels like the dev for this game is in the same vein as the dev for Fez, only keeping his astronomical levels of jerkness to level design lol

Sometimes your brain blips when you’re 45 min deep in a video, on a difficult puzzle game, while trying to be entertaining, etc. it’s a lot. Sometimes I just have to look away and come back in a future episode and we get it

i think the place where the blue square with the 4 line painting where you type in the answers on the blue boxes there was a blue box with the letter a and a 7 next to it i think that is the 7th one for the king room along with the other one that you found with the i on it

That's why bottom brown; what happens to this after the influence of time (Bread > Mold) and brown middle is the word itself after the influence of time (Nigh > Near)

Hey Tyler, I'm gonna explain somethings about how the height system works so if you don't want to be spoiled about that stop reading.
Depending on the height of the block the have to do with either how the word is typed if it is in the middle, how the word is pronounced if is high or the meaning of the word if it's low, hope to help anyone if they are also playing.
I would never get that without being told.

27:47 Why not try Skin, or some word where you add letters to the MIDDLE of the word? You had to do that to solve other puzzles in this same room. (stand became stRand for example)
39:12 You suddenly forgot how black works? Also you figured brown and brown/black last episode. Brown goes forward in time and brown/black goes backwards through time. :)
This game is extremely blursed (and so is this series)
