I lay down every night on a twin sized bed thousands of miles away from my heart, remembering what it's like to feel it beat. wishing I could feel the warmth of love she use to fill me up with. makes me wonder if at certain times when I'm restless at night and thinking about my wife, is she thinking about me? the military is a lonely road at times, and all u have is memories to hold on to. I miss her and my kids so much. this song embodies that feeling of sadness mixed with a dash of hope that I'll see them again.
