Wow! I'm from Brazil and I'm not a big fan of samba, but I found it remarkable how obvious the difference between the straight 16ths, the triplets and the actual samba figure is to me. Granted, I am a composer, but I'm not that comfortable with picking out Cuban rhythms, for instance. It seems that growing up listening to bossa nova has left its mark in my soul. Anyway, congratulations! You've nailed it. Tacaracatá!
